    Gloomy Monday Night In New Haven with the weather but the cocktails, a strawberry caprioska, crafted by Walter, the manager/owner along with the beef heart skewers off the dinner menu made for the perfect night off and evening, a quick way to turn your day around. A great staple and go to spot if your at Yale and/or in downtown New Haven.

    Food is great! I ordered the parihuella and it was a great choice!! Amazing pisco cocktails, food prices are normal and service was impeccable.

    Great experience, the place was really nice, had a good atmosphere, the employees were nice, and the food came out pretty fast. I got the Lomo Saltado and de leche tigre, it was amazing, highly recommend it. A little bit pricey but it's worth it for the quality of food.

    If you’re looking for authentic and sophisticated Peruvian cuisine, chacra pisco-bar is the spot. The dishes are fresh and beautifully presented and the staff are top notch, profesional and friendly. The bar has a big variety of pisco and the bartender is as knowledgeable about all of them. It’s a true hidden gem and I highly recommend it.

    Four of us had dinner at Chakra. We dined at 6:30 on a weekday evening. And it was very quiet. There was a soccer game on TV and the restaurant got much busier as the evening progressed. We have spent time in Peru and were hoping that we would find the food at Chakra authentic. It was and we loved everything. We will happily return.

    We were greeted cordially right away. It was a lovely evening so we chose to sit in the lovely terrace. There are a lot of interesting cocktails on the menu. I had the pisco sour. My husband had a piscojito. They were beautiful and delicious. The appetizers were a standout. We had beef skewers, a corn and Lima bean salad and fried yucca. I had the lomos saltados and my husband had seafood stew. Delicious Peruvian dishes.

    Lovely and enjoyable lunch with friends at chacra pisco bar. We ordered all the anticuchos on the menu as well ceviches and leche tigre and were not disappointed. The food was delicious, beautifully presented and each dish was a good portion size. Our server was patient and made excellent recommendations from the menu and checked on our progress at reasonable intervals. The restaurant was busy but we were seated on the patio. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a great dining experience.

    Went to Chacra for Mother's Day and We have an amazing dinner. We ordered a Pisco sour which was made to perfection with just the right amount of egg foam made out of egg white. It tasted delicious and looked perfect especially after being topped off with bitters and decorated with a Peruvian flag. We ordered a fish ceviche. It was seasoned amazingly well with just the right of spices, lemon, hot sauce and was accompanied perfectly with sweet potato, red onions, Peruvian corn amongst other items. The lomo saltado was perfect. The choice of beef was super tender, perfectly cooked and seasoned. The parihuella was the best I ever had; the broth was just perfect with a great amazing combination of all kinds of seafood. Service was attentive, after all a great experience.

    We had such an amazing graduation dinner at chacra, the food was delicious specially the ceviche and the lomo saltado, the pisco cocktails are great, the server was very profesional and attentive to all our needs, after all a wonderful dinner. Thank you chacra staff.
