    I love eating at Charcoals, the food is superb, totally delicious and generous portions. Ali always brings over more than we ordered which adds to the joy of the occasion. The staff are very friendly but not intrusive so it's a great place to meet friends and enjoy a lovely meal. I heartedly recommend.

    Food is very good, staff are attentive and polite without being overbearing. Little extras is a nice touch too.

    Great food. A lot of food. Pakora, bread, and some other stuff on the house. Always attentive but not overly so. Definitely be back again.

    From start to finish it was a fabulous meal. The owner welcomed us to restaurant, wished my wife a happy birthday and the staff sand happy birthday to my wife. All I can say about the food was that it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a very long time and the peshwari naan is the best I have ever eaten. I can recommend this place highly enough. Plus there’s a car park just around the corner so easy to get to as well despite being in the city centre. If you put one restaurant on your must visit in 2025, charcoals should be it

    Food delicious as usual, staff very friendly and helpful, friends first visit said she would definitely recommend.
