    This was my first dining experience at Chart House and it was a big disappointment. First, I requested a window seat about a month in advance. There were two available, but the host wouldn't let us sit there as he just sat another group by a window and wanted to even out the tables for the waiters. The waitress told us they were known for their Chilean sea bass and their prime rib. The Chilean sea bass was very fishy, which made me believe it was really just sea bass.. My husband tried it, and agreed, it was very fishy and didn't think it was Chilean sea bass. My husband mentioned about the Chilean sea bass to the waitress. I didn't want to make a big stink, so I said not to say anything to the chef. I was told the Chilean sea bass came with lobster risotto, which we found out later was an additional $7. I didn't taste or see any lobster in the lobster risotto. My husband's prime rib was a little on the tough side, certainly not what we were expecting when we were told it is one of the dishes they're known for. When the waitress came to the table to see if we wanted dessert, you could see, my fish was only missing about 2 bites. A classy place, would have taken the Chilean sea bass off the bill. However, we were charged the full $47 for it. Needless to say, we will not be returning here.

    We were four people. My wife and I ordered the Ahi tuna with grilled bok choy, and after about 20 minutes we were told that they were out of the tuna. We were offered the cod and told it would also come with bok choy, but it didn't. It came in a bowl with chopped vegetable drowning in a broth the dominant flavor of which was soy sauce. We were on the verge of sending the meals back and starting over when the waitress suggested some rice would help create balance with the broth. Unfortunately it didn't help at all, so we ended up just not eating very much. We really expected to be comp'd the two meals (out of four), which didn't happen, although without asking the waitress brought out, on the house, two slices of a coffee ice cream pie (which fortunately we liked although probably wouldn't have ordered it). Overall a lousy experience.

    The experience was very good. The food was outstanding and service was very good until it was time for our dessert. It appeared that our server either was too busy or forgot about us. We had to wait 15 minutes after we had completed our meal before she cam, to offer dessert and/or our check. The experience was otherwise, very good.

    The food at this restaurant was excellent. My family and I got the fried green tomatoes and kimchi calamari for an appetizer, which was very good. We also got the prime rib for our main entree, which was very flavorful and the best part of the night. While the food was worth the price, the overall experience was terrible. We arrived at 5:15 PM for our reservation and were immediately seated as the only table in our section. Our initial drinks and appetizer arrived immediately, however after the initial service, our waitress did not come back to check on us. Our waitress was disengaged and seen just standing over at the bar talking with other servers. It took an hour and 15 minutes to get our salads. We then did not get our main dinner until 2 hours after initially sitting down. We only received our dinner after complaining to the general manager Houston who sent an additional server over to us and our food magically appeared. The waitress was uninterested and not accommodating with complaints from our entire section with three other tables filing formal complaints. Overall, the experience was not ideal.

    Our server Raleigh was fantastic. We were r table had a wonderful view of the River. Food was delicious.

    Waited 10 mins when walked in at 6:30p for an attendant to be seated for our reservation. No one was too be found. Food was excellent. Server was awesome. But the kitchen was slow and food took close to an hour. Would go back and hope more timely next time.
