Needed plates warm food went cold very quickly Waited for table to be cleaned just didn’t come back to take desert we decided not to wait any longer glad to leave won’t be going back .

What a beautiful venue, and the staff are lovely. The food however is quite expensive and my salad was soggy with dressing. I should have asked for it separately but didn’t want to make a fuss, as it was my birthday treat. Would go again for a special occasion but only as a treat.

Just amazing from start to finish for my 73rd birthday. We were running late for our booking at 1.30pm due to our guests, but a change of booking to 2.00pm was accommodated without question. Our guests then arrived early - and were accommodated seamlessly. We then had a hiccup with the bill (which was of our making). Eagle eyed customer service assistant spotted it, and all was resolved. The food was out of this world; best frites ever! Above all was the customer service; just exemplary.

I met a friend for a prebooked lunch, everyone was very helpful, welcoming and polite, we were shown to our tableand we’re given time to choose from the menu, our order came quickly and we both enjoyed our choices of chicken and bacon sandwich and mushrooms plus poached egg on toast. I will definitely go again

Unfortunately 2 out of 3 of our sandwiches were not edible, although the same sandwich previously was outstanding- obviously the cut of meat used today. Such a shame. The member of staff was very rude when we mentioned it as she cleared the table - we were only explaining why we’d not eaten the meat so she could inform the chef, - which we were very shocked about.

Excellent food and drink in a very welcoming environment. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We will be back and recommend to our family and friends
