We chose the restaurant after seeing their website. They advertised byob with a $10 corkage fee. Upon arrival, we were informed that they no longer offered the service and gave us a lame excuse for not honoring it. We were seated in the cavernous room, looked around, and saw 4 other patrons at two tables…not a good sign…We checked the menu, though we knew we wanted to order beef bourguignon (a French staple.) The embarrassment waitress told us it had been removed from the menu. On that news, we apologized, and left.

Great food and ambiance! They just got their license to serve wine and definitely need so more experience with the wine itself and how to serve it. BUT the wine selection was excellent!

This was our third trip to Chez Sami. Second one to this location. Took our next door neighbors for the first time. Only thing missing was the live music from the first visit to this location. We will definitely be back. Thanks,

They offered only a fixed menu for $80. I had no idea they were going to do that. Had picked the restaurant because of their menu and then had to eat something I didn’t really want. Food was good except beef Wellington was tough. Wouldn’t go back for the prices.

This place has gone downhill in a matter of just a couple months. We walk in and were surprised by this special menu that was $80 per person and restricts you to three choices. There was no holiday or reason at all to do a limited menu. The portion sizes were much smaller and the wait to get our meal was over an hour, and our entrees were lukewarm at best. Also the first time the escargot came out in an appropriate dish with little cups but this time they were just all thrown in a little bowl about half the portion size from the last time. Very disappointed in this place this time around. Certainly not worth the $230 for 2 that I ended up paying.

Food and ambiance was five star. Service was bad and there was no air conditioning. Unfortunately we won’t back due to service. We had a graduation dinner that was ruined due to service.

Unique options on the Prix Fixe menu. Exceptional meal and service with a satisfying portion. Can't wait to go back.

We had a wonderful experience. Food took longer to be served than expected but our waiter was very nice and helpful. It didn’t feel rushed and we have time to have pleasant conversations. When food arrived it was delicious. Definitely we will be back when visiting Lubbock again.
