The Japanese word “chika” means basement/cellar/underground place. The cuisine at Chika is traditional sushi & ramen (cold & hot) dishes with Japanese bites prepared by Dean Leevongcharoen, a 12-year chef who was trained in Japan. Vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free dining options are also available.

The vibe is everything and the ramen was so delicious. Ngl the best I ever had!! It was byob at the time and we brought our own four pack which was p cool!

I was a bit disappointed because I booked a table for the main room. This made me wait until 8:30p. However, we were sat in a back corner of the restaurant away from the main room. If we wanted the back room, we would've taken a far earlier reservation instead of waiting all day. My ramen was pretty good, but the rest of the experience makes me hesitant to return. Finally, the wait staff made us feel like a burden as well. All our interactions were pretty awkward.

Huge fan of this place. Great food. Lots of taste. Menu was a little overwhelming but the staff pointed me through things. Value for the food you get was perfect. I’ll be back.

Always amazing food and great drinks here highly recommend the Tori Karaage and bang shrimp for appetizers and the spicy chicken miso ramen is the perfect spice level, enough heat to clear the nose without overpowering the flavor.

They didn’t have a sushi chef when we visited so half the menu was out of commission. Regardless, the drinks were overpriced and the food was only okay. The service was lackluster, it felt like we waited forever for our waitress to bring us anything.

Only had 2 servers for the whole restaurant. Took a long time to get the drinks, check, etc. One chef was our so only half fhe menu was available
