                I’ve been a long-time supporter of Chilte, but my recent experience was very disappointing. I purchased two tickets for their $95 per person steakhouse dinner, expecting a three-course meal as described. However, upon arrival, we were given two menus; a drink menu with prices, and the three course meal options without prices. We were also told to order an appetizer, entrée, and dessert, thinking they were included. The final bill exceeded $300, and when we asked if this included the 95 dollars a person we had already paid they said it was only a deposit to be seated. If every item was changed separately why did the food menus not include prices and why were we directed to pick one of each item ( some of which we did not even eat). Had we known we could have only selected a few items. After this both of us were in shock and we even went back to look at the description which did not say that it was only a deposit but rather made it seem like the 3 courses were included ( just like they have been in other collaborations we have attended at the restaurant). The lack of transparency in pricing and the misleading ticket description felt disrespectful and like a cash grab. Unfortunately, this experience has made me no longer support this restaurant and its practices.

                All of the food choices were great. From the starters to the main course and then the deserts. I cannot complain. Everyone loved their meal and also the drinks selections. Chef LT smith should be a James beard finalist as his food is amazing.

                Perfect. We went for New Years with their special steakhouse pop up. Incredible in every way. Can’t wait to go back and try the traditional menu. Love the vibe and folks in front and behind the scenes.

                The food was delicious! The acoustics could be better, we spent the evening yelling to be heard! Overalll very laid back and fun!

                Outstanding and unique take on Mexican food. Innovative entrees, starters and desserts. Only negative is the high volume atmosphere of a small dining room. Not a place you would go for a quiet, romantic evening but great for high-energy confabs.

                First time visiting the restaurant and found the food to be authentic and refreshing. The staff was very welcoming and helpful throughout the service. Worth coming back and bring others to enjoy the overall experience.

                Great little hole in the wall. Not a huge menu, but excellent food and service. Great craft cocktails, and wines from Mexico. A real gem of a place.

                It's the third time I've eaten there in the last 5 months and I love it everytime - the fresh, unique combination of flavors plus the amazing margarita make it a 'must go' restaurant. It might be simple but the salad and quesadilla are two of my favorites!

                We are from Scottsdale and we took the trip down to Phoenix to taste this delicious food. As we are approaching the restaurant it was a little dark we got worried but once we tasted the food it did not disappoint . We had a cesar’s salad which is different with edible flowers. Plantains with frijoles was tasty. Bone marrow with green chorizo was phenomenal . There were layers of flavors. We found it enjoyable . We got the beef tacos with the french dip was great. We had dessert the goat ice cream was very creamy, my husband does not really like sweets but he loved this! If you are a foodie this will definitely wake up your senses. This is the classic hole in the wall. Definitely will be back for more! Since they are small they might need more servers when they are getting busier!!
