China Garden has been serving Chinese, Cantonese and Dim Sum cuisine for the past 30 years. You will receive a warm welcome at our restaurant, conveniently situated on the corner of Preston Street with a great view of the sea.
We have a fully licensed bar and a capacity of 150, offering the ideal setting for an intimate meal with family or friends, but also the ability to cater for private parties. Our wide variety of delicious Dim Sum Dishes are served daily 12:00 - 16:00 while the A La Carte Menu runs right through the day from 12:00.

Great food and service, very pleasant ambiance only thing to watch is the price of your meal overall - it’s certainly not a cheap option but the food is cracking!

Food and service are absolutely amazing here, we always visit the restaurant when we are in Brighton. The food cannot be beaten, so fresh and tasty

We had a very pleasant evening celebrating our son's engagement, so a table for four. We were up some steps on the right of the restaurant and we chose the £40 a head celebration meal. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

What can say. Wonderful. Exciting. Glorious food. The service was efficient and calm. The food glorious. A great selection of dishes to choose from. Would highly recommend for one, two or a large party.

China Garden is the best Chinese restaurant in Brighton & Hove. It’s a very vibrant atmosphere which is great for groups and families. There are some more private tables, so if you’re looking for a bit more privacy you could ask for one of the tables on the raised section or in a corner. Food is always of the highest quality and they welcome it if you want to customise a dish. Service is exceptional with lots of staff on hand to cater throughout your visit

We went to the China Garden for our children's birthday. We cannot fault them on any part of their service - the personal service and the food were both second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for the numerous staff on shift during the evening. Service was very attentive. The food was well cooked and we loved it all. As it was my children's birthdays they were presented with a chocolate sundae with a candle. If you've got room, try the chocolate icecream - it was to die for! We have been to The China Garden previously and will return again without a doubt.

Excellent restaurant. Always freshly cooked dishes, lots of choice, friendly and efficient service. One of the best restaurants in Brighton. Usually busy which gives it a buzz.

The restaurant was full of Chinese customers so we thought it was a good sign. But the food didn't live up to our expectation. One of the waitresses was quite rude too. For the standard, I think it's quite expensive. I don't think we will be back again.
