Muy bonito lugar, hubiera sido perfecto pero la persona encargada de servirnos el agua de llegada nos aventó los porta vasos y de muy mala gana sirvió el sparking water, nuestra mesera fue muy amable y todos los chicos de Expo que nos llevaron uno a uno los platos, creo solo eso me hubiera gustado llegaran todos al mismo tiempo, pero en general estuvo bien

I had a reservation for 5 people for a birthday brunch for my friend. 3 of us arrived a bit early and they told us they would only seat us once everyone arrived. We asked if we could sit and start ordering. They said no. That's totally fine. That's a relatively common practice. We sat at the bar and ordered a couple of cocktails to start. We had to flag someone down for service and we waited for about 15 minutes for our drinks, despite the bar and most of the restaurant being empty. We all ordered the Cherry Bloom Fizz, which is basically a cherry French 75. It was DELICIOUS. I had several more over the course of the meal. When my other friends arrived (late) we were seated. We were greeted and given water right away. About 10 minutes later, our server took our orders. We ordered drinks, apps, and entrees all at once. To be clear: the service was great and everyone who came to the table was BEYOND friendly. The biggest issue was the food. My friends' entrees came out first (The Chicken and Croffles). Then 15 minutes later, some fries and other little items we ordered came. Then after a while, my other friend's Shakshuka came. Finally, after all of my friends' meals were finished, my Steak and Eggs came. The steak was cold and I asked to have it redone, which they did and were very kind and apologetic about it. The refire finally came after we had already ordered dessert. The food was absolutely delicious across the board. I'm just very confused by the delivery. One or two dishes every 10-15 minutes is a bit strange and it definitely negatively impacted the experience. The ambiance is beautiful and highly Instagrammable. I might give it another shot since it seems it was very much an off day for them. Service is excellent. Food is delicious.

Food was subpar- the rice seemed to be reheated the peas in it were hard and grey. We wanted to address it with the server. but she just came back to drop the check with us and left. A great night was had but the meal really missed the mark and was super disappointing for the price and vibe of the restaurant.

I don’t know what happened to this place. It was fantastic a year ago and quickly went south. Food is great but a bit gimmicky. I think they are understaffed because I did not see the waiter other than to order and got up to find help 3 times after 25+ minutes without a refill. And for context the restaurant was at ~30%~ capacity for this meal.

Food was great, ambiance was lovely, but the service was a bit lacking especially for the price. It really should have been a bit more dialed-in. We had a couple of unfortunate little problems along the way and while the apologies were plenty, little was offered to make up for them - again, could have been handled a bit better. All-in-all a nice experience, with better service it would have been excellent.

My spouse and I had a fun anniversary dinner at Chotto Matte! Food was very good and the restaurant is attractive. I will say it felt a bit gimmicky and a little overpriced. Service was a little inconsistent, but very friendly. However, overall it was super fun and I would recommend it for a nice dinner!

It was our first time and its worth it. SWill defintely come back! Great experience! service is exceptionally good and food is delicious esp the gyoza and AUS wagyu.

A quick business lunch took almost 2 hours bc there was only 1 server for the whole restaurant. We didn’t even get to order our food until we had been waiting for over 40 mins bc he was swamped. I love the space and the food, but service has to be faster…

First time here. Checked in with hostess. Hostess told us where the restrooms were and sat us at a table near the window, not on the terrace. Still a good view and ambiance. Server came by and introduced herself, walked us through the menu and started our drinks. We were told food comes from 5 different stations. We got our drinks and ordered some food. Overall, we had a good experience. Not everything was perfect, hence a 4 star. There’s also no way to give a 4.5 star.
