Our group of 4 had great meals. The quiche was the best I have had. We were there for News Years Day Brunch. We were seated upstairs which was quiet but very warm. A ceiling fan would be helpful. It will be hot in the summer. Our initial service was prompt but the server had tables up and down so his attention flagged as he tried to help everyone. We are eager to return and sit outside on the extensive sidewalk dining area.

Fun place to eat. Lots of great tastes and wonderful French wine selection. This place is a gem and I plan to eat there again soon.

The most amazing New Years Eve meal I’ve ever had. Each item in the four course meal was outstanding. The ambience was wonderful and the service was terrific. I am definitely make plans for a repeat next New Years.

Went on NYE and had their 3 course menu. While we were enjoying our appetizers our main course came. Dessert came out early as well as we were enjoying our dinner. I asked if they were rushing us out, and we were told they were not, to take our time. We felt otherwise. This is the first time we had this experience at Chouette. Chalking it up to NYE at the restaurant.

Basically an incredible overall experience. Dined on Pre Fixe menu for New Years, everything was excellent but the desert was extra incredible. A citrus layered slice tart sort of vibe with a frozen meringue layer that was beyond. The rebuild of the space is gorgeous. Have been waiting for a solid French place to open in Columbus downtown for a while and this place holds up to my favorite Cafè Figeroa in Los Feliz.

Overall a very nice restaurant and our server Thomas was great. It’s a small restaurant so expect a tight squeeze and to be able to hear your neighbors quite well. Biggest disappointment was the food for me. Appetizers were great but my Coq Au Vin was so unbelievably overcooked I could only eat the dark meat and even that took a while to chew through. Will probably come back but will just be for appetizers next time

Was hoping for way more. Had to send back multiple dishes because they were cold. How do you send out one of your most expensive entrees (the duck) ice cold? You could tell a lot of the apps like the deviled eggs were premade. The white parts were freezing indicating they have been sitting in the fridge for a while. The Gruyère bites had no dough inside and were cold it, was essentially eating an inflated softer goldfish snack. Do not accept a table upstairs, they literally forget about you. Waitress had to be reminded to give us bread and some of our drinks multiple times. My steak was fine, but you could get way better ones all around downtown. Also had a 7:45 reservation, had to wait 20 mins to get seated and we didn’t leave until 10:20PM. Just everything took so long and was cold. A shame really.
