Long Islands best family style restaurant, rooted in classic Italian family style fashion, features the best from each Italian Region. We anticipate the cooler weather game of veal and homemade pasta, burnt vegetables and mixed greens; Our fish is fresh daily and the tastiest clams you'll ever try, live and kickin’ soft shell crabs arriving in season, followed by summer’s fresh bean salad, tomatoes and mozzerella. We really enjoyed our meal at Chris and Tony’s. We were a larger party and ordered multiple dishes. The chicken Marsala was amazing! We also had Pasta alla Chris (veal bolognese sauce) and Pasta Alana (broccoli, eggplant, garlic, and mozzarella), both were really good. My only issue with the evening was that I felt like the waiter was trying to up sell us. He was pushing for us to get another dish and didn’t really give me information on how many people the food I had planned to order would serve. We had plenty of food without ordering another dish as he was suggesting. We even bought home leftovers. I’d recommend coming here but keep in mind that you probably don’t need as many dishes as they recommend.

Fantastic. Family style. We were 9. The service was exceptional. Apps- all very tasty: calamari: crispy, tender, red sauce lovely. Baked Clams: whole, small, breadcrumbs were not overly seasoned so I could taste the clams. Meatballs-regular: tennis ball size, not too firm or overly breaded, delicious, their red sauce is sweet and yummy. Chris & Tony’s salad: was plated which was nice, perfectly dressed, added the salami and cheese on the side which was a nice addition. Dinner - rigatoni alla vodka with prosciutto was maybe the best we ever had, pasta was actually al dente, not over-sauced, outstanding. Fillet of soul - broiled, francese style - light, flaky, very fresh, well balanced francese sauce - not too much lemon or capers. Last was the veal Marsala which I cannot comment on because I couldn’t eat anymore but the folks I was with loved it. We did not have dessert. Overall, pricey but that being said, I don’t mind paying for exceptional food and service which is not too common especially on the island. Well worth it and we will go back.

The noise level is out of control control. Packed and slow service. Not going back again. Always a wait with a reservation and the volume makes it impossible to enjoy yourself.

Excellent food, service and atmosphere. We truly enjoyed all parts of our meal from salad to dessert. Service was exceptional as the waiter was very attentive noticing that a hair was in the salad and quickly took it back and returned with a new salad. Each course was quickly cleaned up and removed then replaced with efficiently serving the next. The only problem is the noise level as it is was very loud.

The whole experience was fantastic. The food, the service (Cesar was awesome). Alain was a great manager and kept checking on us. Several people came by to make sure we were happy. It was a great family dinner any a great family restaurant. I wish I could give Chris and Tony’s 10 stars. Looking forward to coming again and again!
