The heart of Glasgow’s Southside. We are a Bar & Restaurant for the locals, ran by locals and here to celebrate the greater side of Glasgow.

We pride ourselves on being the venue for every occasion, whether that be shakin’ up some cocktails on a Tuesday, bringing in Gran’s 80th birthday on Friday or enjoying a wholesome Roast on a Sunday. We have recently launched a new menu with a real “POW with WOW!” and you can expect a little tingle on your taste buds as you read through our new food and drinks menu.

Join us for a tree-mendous morning of festive family fun yule be sorry to miss! Santa will be here spreading Christmas cheer at his Grotto, giving the perfect opportunity for a festive photo op and his elf helpers will even be handing out presents to those on the 'nice list'. When: 7th, 14th and 21st December from 10 am to 1 pm-Santa will be visiting from 10:30am to 12:30 pm What's included...? Priced at £15per person, kids will receive a drink, a pancake stack with a choice of toppings, a present, AND a chance to meet Santa and his elves! Adults will receive a brunch dish per person, with filter tea & coffee. Please note that we will contact you in advance of your booking to help Santa provide age appropriate gifts for your little ones!

Great meal at Church on the hill. Our server Marie was brilliant and very knowledgeable on the menu items plus was just a really friendly person. We'll definitely be back soon.

Breakfast with Santa was fab!! Food was delish , staff were great and Santa was AMAZING ! Both kids and adults had fun!!

Breakfast with Santa was fantastic. My kids absolutely loved it, probably the best Santa experience we’ve ever booked.

The Sunday roast was sublime, the best meal I’ve had in a long time. I’ll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. The tv volume on the night was very loud but the staff turned it down for us when asked. It was my first time in but it won’t be the last.

Thank you so much Colin, our team worked really hard on Sunday Roast and I am pleased to see we met expectations, Roast Beef if my personal favorite but chicken and vegan options are also delicious. We took my sister for her birthday today Sunday 1/12/2024 the atmosphere was great all decorated for Christmas, very cosy restaurant with fantastic food. All the staff were amazing and friendly couldn’t do enough for us all.

Marie is our superstar, thank you for fantastic review Ann. We always strive for the best and never run out of baby Guinness so make sure you visit us again soon. I would recommend to try some of our Winter Cocktails - definitely a way to get into festive period. Remember we have our live DJ with all jingle bells every Friday and Saturday night in December and if you haven't made Hogmanay plans yet ... well there is no better place to be than Church on the Hill :) Have a nice day, Agie and Team Church :)
