I had eaten at the Cibo in Wilmslow about a month before . And my wife had asked where I was to go to meet up with good friends for a meal. I said I wanted to eat fish and the Halibut and Sea Bass were fantastic there, I had had the halibut. Our friends were delighted with the choice as they tend only to eat fish and in the end I had the Halibut again, My wife had the Sea Bass and our friends had the fish platter for two. It was all fantastic . The staff were lovely. Booking on Open Table was simple, and so the evening was great. Thank you

Booked the latest table available purposely for New Years Eve to celebrate …. Was told off for being 6 minutes late. When we asked what flavoured gins they had the waitress said I don’t drink gin so I don’t know …. You’ll have to look at the menu. One of our starters didn’t arrive and had to wait for it to be reordered. Ordered 3 desserts …. Only 2 arrived …. When we eventually got their attention he said oh we’ve run out of that dessert now. Tables being cleared and packed away at 11.00 …. and told we had to leave as the restaurant was closing as they had a party to go to!! Would never book here again!! The most disappointing New Year’s Eve we’ve EVER had!!

We come here quite a bit but unfortunately will be looking for somewhere else, i was so disappointed with the steak i ordered i asked for well done but it came rare which for me was a NO NO, we was put in a dark corner where my dad and aunt could not read the menu. Also not much choice on the menu. After paying £370 i can’t tell you how disappointed we was. We will not be returning.

Rump steak was dry and tough. Service was slow. Expensive meal - not great value.

Steak was poor… no where near enough char, some staff were very miserable… not a great evening at all

The place is pretty but the food is mediocre and a little disappointing. I had salmon and the whole dish lacked seasoning. We were a party of 8 and 3 of us felt the same about our dish. The pasta was good and the tiramisu also excellent but everything else was standard. The most disappointing thing about the night was the service, the staff are so rude. If you ask them anything they respond in an abrupt sarcastic manner and really spoil the whole ambiance of the place , we will not be returning.
