   We had Sunday lunch & an evening meal & both were superb, excellent host’s with delicious food. Would highly recommend as the standard has remained very high over the years that we have eaten there.

   The food, staff and atmosphere was outstanding. We ate in a few places in Ballater and the Clachan was by far the best.

   Cosy and welcoming feel. The food, wine and service was excellent. Good value. A really enjoyable evening.

   Absolutely love this place. Great staff, great food and a really nice atmosphere. Thoroughly recommend, it’s just perfect. So good, we went twice this weekend. Great meal Saturday lunch time and as always, simply the best, Sunday roast dinner. A must try if you are in Ballater.

   First time at Clachan grill. Cosy restaurant, staff friendly and food great. Sticky toffee pudding was exceptional. Will definitely be returning and would recommend.

   We thoroughly enjoyed our meal in the Clachan Grill. Opting for the Sunday roast, we were treated to a generous portion of expertly cooked meat, accompanied by delicious vegetables, gravy and skirlie. Following that with stick toffee pudding, my husband (who's a sticky toffee pudding fan) declared it to be just right. The ambience and service was lovely. Well definitely be back.

   The food was excellent and served promptly. Service was very friendly and polite. Reasonably priced. Have been before and just as good every time we come. Would definitely recommend this restaurant if you like steaks and locally sourced Scottish food. Alan Pedelty.
