Clandestino is the moody sister of Tac/Quila. Serving elevated and fresh Mexican food. Located right next to the Marilyn Monroe statue in downtown Palm Springs. The restaurant is headed by Chef Gustavo Carreon who has worked diligently to create a menu that highlights the best that his home country has to offer. Some Clandestino exclusives include stuffed squash blossoms and cochinita pibil. We have 100% outdoor seating.

Margarita flight was amazing! Tasted fresh and was just perfect. My favorites were the cucumber and guava! Squash blossom appetizer was incredible. We had shrimp and ahi tina tacos, red burrito and chemical quesadillas. Very nice outdoor seating and our server Chris was very friendly and patient. The entire staff was very attentive. Great place great food and service!

Best Authentic Mexican(not the usual tex mex) Excellent seviche. innovative meat and fish dishes- love the tamales, pork pibil and corn esquites. Great service and ambience.

This was our first experience dining here. We were very happy with the effort in plentiful umbrellas outside. Alejandra was superb!

Great food, and great service. We made reservations well in advance, which was a good thing. It’s not a large restaurant, and walk-ins had quite a long wait.
