Located in a former auto shop in the vibrant Montrose neighborhood near The Menil Collection and Museum District, Clark’s Houston is the third and largest location of our popular neighborhood oyster bar and seafood restaurant. Opened in Fall 2023, Clark’s features freshly shucked oysters, crudo, lobster roll, daily fish specials, caviar and blini, bowls of chowder and cioppino as well as a much-loved burger and shoestring fries.

The restaurant specializes in martinis and signature cocktails as well as an extensive Champagne and wine list. The design is light, bright, and airy with nautically-themed touches including a centerpiece fish tank, teak wood furniture, bright white walls, and blue and turquoise tones.

In addition to a marble-topped oyster bar and dining room, there’s a large, covered patio for prime people watching and oyster slurping. Clark’s Houston also offers a semi-private dining room for special occasions and events.

Always enjoy Clark's, although I have to say the noise level and a $28 glass of Sauvignon Blanc is a bit much, in my opinion. But I'll still go back because of good food and a lively atmosphere--plus very good service.

Oysters are great service is awesome but the wine prices are a little off Too many wines over $100 and not enough around $40s area then a few $70

Amazing East Coast oysters from PEI, Maine, Mew Brunswick and Massachusetts! Fantastic service (Kat + team approach). Great vibe - we sat outside on a perfect early evening. Crispy snapper and sear octopus were perfect. All in all A+

Waiter was great but busy. Slow drinks and no sense of urgency or staff helping each other. Hostess was very rude.

We had an amazing lunch with our server Brian out on the patio. This was my first time here and everything was absolutely perfect! Our group started with a dozen east coast oysters that were amazing! Then we had the Tuna Crudo, Grilled Redfish and the BLT. Everyone loved all of the food. Service was impeccable and cocktails were fantastic. I will definitely be back!
