At Coast 236, the rhythm of familiarity and freshness is our inspiration. Sourcing fresh and sustainable ingredients from water and land, we passionately craft approachable coastal inspired cuisine with unexpected details.     Join us for a special evening celebrating the cuisine and wines of Southern Italy and Sicily. On March 22, experience a 6-course tasting menu expertly paired with wines, with a guest speaker guiding you through each pairing. The evening begins with a welcome cocktail at 6 PM, and featured wines will be available for discounted purchase. Seating is exclusively at 6 PM for this one-night-only event with limited availability, so early reservations are highly recommended. The cost is $125 per person, which includes wine pairings (plus tax and gratuity). As this is a wine-focused dining experience, there is no alternative pricing without wine pairings. Please note that only this prix fixe menu will be offered, and dietary restrictions cannot be accommodated. Regular à la carte and seasonal tasting menus will not be available.

    Simply one of the best examples (in West Michigan) of a small restaurant and talented team being focused on excellence all the way around, from start to finish. Coast 236 executes at a level of culinary skill and service that we're grateful for, especially being so close to our home. Some of the freshest ingredients, especially the seafood (flown in multiple times a week) combined with the chef's passion for flavor, texture, and presentation all work together to deliver an experience worthy of a Michelin or James Beard recommendation. Highly recommended, and we'll be back again soon!

    Great meal at Coast 236. The lamb chops and scallops were amazing. The fennel salad was also phenomenal. The service was perfect

    I had an incredible experience here from the food, experience with staff, service, and ambience of the restaurant. You can’t go wrong with any of the menu items which are selected and crafted to perfection. Staff is welcoming and respectful which added that much more to the experience.

    The food and service are always great! We sar in the front window by the entrance door, which was regularly being opened in the 20 degree weather. A separate space heater by the front window seats would be appreciated! The management turned up the heat and drew a curtain when requested, but winter weather may require a little more intervention!

    It was a perfect valentine’s dinner date. Staff was excellent and very courteous. The food was exceptional. We have traveled the world and have eaten at many 5 star restaurants. I would put this restaurant in the top 2 of restaurants for quality and service. The freshness and quality of the food really stood out. Thanks for making our experience great from Joe and Kim. We will definitely be back.
