NOW SERVING SUNDAY BRUNCH!!

The Coastal Kitchen Monterey is an idyllic setting to enjoy inspirational fine dining. The culinary efforts are on display in the show kitchen and the service team is poised to offer impassioned explanations.

Chef Michael Rotondo’s multi-coursed tasting menu focuses on sustainability and celebrates the bounty of the Monterey Bay and Central Coast. A wine pairing of thoughtfully curated wines selected by the Sommelier team is available to complement each captivating course.

Additionally, we are also offering our Champagne Brunch on Sundays for 10am to 2pm.

Dinner Menus: Multiple Course Tasting Menu starts at $145 per person (Tuesday to Saturday Evenings)
3 Course Prix Fixe Menu $85 ( Tuesday to Thursday evenings)
Champagne Brunch Prix Fixe Menu: $75 per person (Sundays from 10am to 2pm)
Reservation Cancellation Policy: 24 Hours Prior to Reservation Time
Late Cancellation Fee: $50 per guest cancelation.

Together with the sublime wine pairings curated by Sommelier Conrad Reddick, this epicurean journey invites you to plunge into the rhythm of the coast. An unforgettable experience served with uninterrupted views of Monterey Bay and the ocean crashing beneath your feet.

The Brunch food was amazing, as was the view. Unfortunately the service was incredibly off. The brunch comes with unlimited bubbles, and we were not served ours until after the 1st of 2 courses was served. Then we had to ask for refills for bubbles, coffee, and hot water (which we did not get). I would go back but the service really needs attention.

Tucked away in at the Monterey plaza hotel. Almost 180 views of the ocean. Great food. Attentive staff. Quiet. Great experience for my girlfriends birthday

The dinner menu consisted of 2 options. A $125/person tasting menu or a fixed 3 course menu for $85. The options were quite limited with only 3 choices per course. We found the food to be decent but safe and uninspiring. With one glass of wine and bottled water for the table, the tab came to $277 for 2 people. We did not find the experience to be consistent with this price point.

Nice idea. The Wine pairing and the staff were the best parts of the evening. Food was prepared too early and appeared to have been sitting for hours. It didn't have a freshness. Nothing was awesomely delicious. For a dining experience, I would not recommend it. Schooners, the next door casual restaurant, has a menu that is fresh and delicious by comparison. Coastal Kitchen does not represent its name very well and was disappointed.

We had a lovely anniversary dinner at this delightful spot. We got to sit right on the window with darling little otters playing beneath us and the food was very good and the wait staff were attentive.

Loved the prix fixe menu and wine. Seabass and chicken were the favorites. Delicious martinis.

Food was all excellent, albeit a lot of daikon used . The crab dish and the dessert were outstanding. Good luck with winning yr first Michelin star Great views and w3 actually made use of the binoculars
