We can accomodate larger groups up to 12 guests. Our Chef’s Menu is required for all group 7+ guests. The menu offers a selection of entrées, main, sides and dessert for the table to share. Incredible dining experience, great staff its wonderful to see a Front and Back of house team so in sync and welcoming. Worth any amount of travel, only slight issue was noise level which is somewhat unavoidable in a venue so compact, still very reasonable considering how busy it was.

This was the first time we went to Cognoscenti to celebrate two birthdays. We had the Chef's Menu which was adapted to cater for two pescatarians. We all thoroughly enjoyed the food - everything was cooked perfectly and the service was impeccable. We all agreed it was the best meal we had had a long time. We will return.

We have been coming to this restaurant for 3 years now. It's our only go-to restaurant for modern French- Italian- Australian food. It's simply perfect 👌 👍

This is a fantastic restaurant. Very good service, with excellent food at okay prices in a really nice setting. Well worth the drive to Belgrave. Kevin, the chef is a master of his craft.

Outstanding food and wine experience. Could not fault. 11/10. First time diners and this hidden gem in Belgrave will quickly become a favourite. Can't wait to return to try other menu dishes.

Such a wonderful dinner. Food delicious, service couldn’t fault. To top off the meal we were given a complimentary desert for our anniversary . Thank you to all the staff.

Perfect way to welcome the weekend with Thursday steak and frites with a glass of Bordeaux. Food was exceptional, staff warm and welcoming, a beautiful dining experience.

Unexpected! no offence to the foodies in Belgrave, but a beautiful little restaurant that serves all the classics with an extensive wine list, is normally something us Hill Dwellers have to go city side for. Tucked away next to a little cinema on the main street is a very cozy and welcoming establishment, I was recommended this place by my Daughter, and took my wife there for her birthday, What immediately impressed me, was the relaxed atmosphere and the ease at which we found ourselves, the wait staff were genuine and very helpful, giving great advice about what Cocktail would suit us before our meal. I went for a Old fashioned which was very nicely balanced, and had the oysters and the steak, accompanied by a lovely glass of Red, followed by a Basque Cheesecake. The oysters were very tasty, although I prefer mine a little less flavored, the Steak was beautifully cooked at the right temperature and served pre cut. The Cheesecake was a lovely surprise, even at the priciest resteraunts, they can come out a little dry, but the texture and flavor was superb. Yes I rather made a pig of myself and may need to rethink my wardrobe or actually stick to that training plan I promised at New Year, but suffice to say, you wont go hungry. It is not a cheap night, but the price is fair and commensurate with the quality of food and service. We will be back
