This restaurant housed in a former bank building in the heart of downtown Tipp City offers quality dining in a small-town setting. The decor is warm and welcoming and is a delight for the senses. The fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere while the full bar allows patrons a relaxing stop while awaiting a fabulous meal. The inviting atmosphere encourages relaxed conversation. You may be surprised to find that a restaurant in such a small town has some rather sophisticated choices on the menu alongside your more normal fare, with entrees such as ostrich being offered. If you are looking for a decadent dessert, look no further than the butter-drenched English Tea Cake! An easy drive from all points in the Dayton area, words cannot do it justice. A visit is a must and will be the first of many.

As always, an awesome experience, delicious food and drinks, and outstanding service. My wife ordered the venison and I had the 14 oz CAB Ribeye…both the venison and steak were perfectly prepared and melted in our mouths!! Highly recommend Coldwater Cafe for a special occasion or just a regular night out for dinner.

Fantastic, as always! Food was delicious- enjoyed the specials and new menu that just came out! Service was great as well! Def. Our favorite!

I made a reservation at Coldwater Cafe for yesterday, not realizing they had changed their menu. While it's always delicious, a couple new standout items. We started with the Brie Focaccia Toast. It was excellent. The saltiness of the prosciutto with the Brie was a great combination. It might be a new favorite. Next up, we both had the soup which was, I believe, called White Bean Chicken Verde. 10/10. I don't even like beans in my soup and it was fantastic. My friend had the filet with shrimp and loved it, as he always does. I had the halibut. I've always laughed at cooking competitions when they go on and on about how something is perfectly cooked, but that halibut was PERFECTLY COOKED. I think my friend had entre-envy because after trying a bite, he went in for another. We finished off by sharing a slice of sugar cream pie which some how got better with each bite. Service is always great at CWC. The food is always timed perfectly so we weren't rushed from one course to another, but we also weren't left waiting. The water carafe was always full. Just stellar. A note to the adorable couple sitting beside us, I hope the pictures I took for you turned out well!

Another wonderful dinner experience from Coldwater! Both the salmon and the pasta were delicious and Kelly’s service was five star as usual! We so appreciate how welcoming and accommodating she is.

They have the ‘pay at the table’ which in my opinion is always awkward with the server kind of looming over you as your entering your tip info, but apart from that everything was very good.

Excellent as always. We enjoyed the specials on the menu and the Prime Rib was perhaps the best I've ever had in my entire life. Several at the table had the Ahi Tuna special and were also blown away. Remarkable service by Casey, she's a joy. The best restaurant around!
