    This was the first time we dined at Cooper's. The Service was great and the food was delicious! The prices were very reasonable, compared to what we're used to in Ft Lauderdale. We all ordered steaks. They came with 2 sides. I had mashed potatoes and the squash medolie. The lobster bisque was also good! The brownie dessert and cheese cake were also good. We will return.

    We really enjoy Cooper’s and have been there several times this season. The food has always been good and I think it is reasonably priced for what you get. Waiters are consistently outstanding, ambiance lovely (we like the waterfront room in the back) Last night there was a little glitch in that they had no Chardonnay by the glass available. Next time I will being a bottle to ensure no disappointment. They expected a shipment the next day.

    We enjoyed dinner at Cooper’s Chop House for two nights inns row. Great food, especially conch fritters, grouper and lamb chops. Excellent service from David on Sunday evening and Biz this (Monday) evening. Thanks!

    Excellent meal! The tenderloin was wonderful! The Grouper special was also very good. Highly recommend the Brussel sprouts also. We will be back!

    My husband and I decided to try this restaurant after the mixed reviews. We had a 545PM reservation and arrived at 535PM and was told we needed to wait 10 minutes through the back room was almost empty at the time of my seating. People came in without reservations and were seated immediately in the main dining room. That first impression made me curious what the rest of the night would be like. The food was very good. The chicken with bourbon butter had great flavor but lacked presentation for a restaurant trying to be more upscale (2 large pieces thrown on a plate with mashed potatoes). My husband's shrimp and seafood with grits was overall delicious, though mussels were tiny and lacked flavor. The lemon blueberry mascarpone cake for desert was one of the best I've had. We sat in the back room and had a great table facing the river. The noise level was moderate and the service was slow but it was prime time on a Saturday. Our server was excellent despite the slow service. I would try again but may sit in the bar hour for social hour. I would have given it 5 stars except for the initial welcome by the hostess stand and the slow service. A recommendation is to expand music until 9PM and invite guests to sit outside after dinner to have a cocktail or desert.

    We went to Coopers for our Dad’s birthday it was great with just some minor questions. We had a reservation, got there 10 mins early, wasn’t sure why they didnt seat us & the table was empty. Usually they would want to seat us at restaurant. Otherwise everything was great. Our waiter was Steve and he was kind & very customer service friendly, made us feel welcomed .

    My open table reservation has my garlic allergy in the notes, the server mentioned it when she first greeted us and told me what was safe to eat. I chose a steak with fries, she said that would be fine. We waited a long time, the food finally came out and right in the middle of the plate, on top of my food, was a giant head of garlic. They took it back and brought me another plate with the same food but no garlic. The manager came out to make sure I was OK, whatever that means. The steak was tiny and well-done (I asked for medium), nothing had any flavor. We will not be back.
