   Beautiful setting, great service, varied and delicious menu. We went for Brunch and look forward to trying for dinner and wine.

   This is our 3rd visit. One brunch and two dinners. It’s trying to be a french bistro, but it falls shirt. Service is good, staff pleasant. Starters are ok, salads are good. Tonight was duck fat fried chicken- inedible! I did not eat but 2 bites- hard as a rock- tasteless and dry. Why wouldn’t you post a roasted chicken? Fries were tasty- that and some salad was my dinner, plus a tomato tarte that was just way too big to be enjoyable. They are trying way too hard. The mother restaurant is Mariposa- been there numerous times- consistently good and stays in their lane for taste and quality. Coquette- bye bye- never again I’ll give them credit- they deducted the awful chicken!!

   Food was fantastic. But took extremely long to get to our table. One hour from salads to entrees. When it got there was great. Very pricey. Loud. Clearly in an office building. Did I mention the food was great?

   I recently dined at Cocquette for Mother’s Day, and while there were many standout aspects, the experience was unfortunately overshadowed by poor service. Let’s start with the positives: the food was absolutely delicious. Truly, kudos to the chef for crafting such flavorful and well-executed dishes. Every bite reflected care and creativity. The ambience is also worth mentioning – chic, modern, and fashion-forward, with a lively energy that adds to the appeal. It was a bit on the louder side, but still managed to feel sophisticated and stylish. Now, the downside: service. I understand the pressure of a busy holiday, but our server consistently missed the mark. She forgot to put in our drink orders, delayed the side dish until well into the meal (which arrived cold and soggy), and only brought the glass of wine at the very end—right as we were finishing our food. She even blamed the bartender, though it was clear he was not overwhelmed. Overall, it felt like she wasn’t present or attentive, which sadly diminished the experience. One more note about the restroom: while the design is unique, the faucet was installed poorly, making it difficult to use and messy. Water splashed everywhere, and there were no paper towels—just a bunch of already-used cloth ones. Definitely something that needs a rethink. In short, Cocquette has so much potential. The food and atmosphere are top-notch, but the service and attention to detail need improvement to match the level of the cuisine. I’d consider returning—just not on a busy holiday.

   Phenomenal food as always… The charcuterie board was on point as well as the cocktails. Our server, Francesca, delivered exceptional service. We will definitely be back.

   One of the best meals in charlotte. Every bite was delicious and the service was exceptional. I highly recommend the tomato tart and sole fish. The French fries are also delicious.
