Algunos platos excepcionales junto a otros algo planos de sabor. Las presentaciones ostentosas de algunos platos forman parte del espectáculo, lo sé, pero los cuatro canapés extraviados en un centro de mesa de corcho enorme, cubierto de musgos, me pareció exagerado. El ambiente envarado habitual de estas experiencias, roto amablemente por algún jefe de sala más cálido. El precio es el que es, aumentado por un cargo de servicio discrecional. Buena experiencia en general, aunque para hacer de vez en cuando.

Exceptional. From start to finish this was one of the best dining experiences we have had. The food is just sublime even the snacks at the start the roast chicken was amazing. The taster menu was outstanding. The desserts were out of this world. The serving staff were super friendly and attentive. As we left we also were asked if we wanted to meet Clare at the pass. Classy gesture! Love everything about Core!

Simply perfect. The service was friendly, welcoming and attentive. The cocktails, like the food, special without being overdone. Just perfection. Every course and ever morsel just fabulous. First visit will not be our last.

This was the most amazing dining experience I’ve ever had! I looked forward to the meal for months and as excited as I was, it exceeded my very high expectations. The setting, the exceptional service and above all else, the food! Every bite was thoughtful, beautiful and beyond delicious. The service was also impeccable and the staff uniformly friendly and knowledgeable. After the meal, my companions and I really understood the difference between two and three Michelin stars. Chef Clare Smyth was in the kitchen to warmly greet us upon arrival and the service provided by Aisha, Brie, Vanya and every other member of the team we interacted with, was unparalleled. They were attentive, engaging, professional and friendly, without a hint of pretension or insincerity. We tried the Classic and Seasonal tasting menus and I would be hard pressed to choose only one. The food wasn’t just the most flavorful, creative and perfectly balanced I ever had, it was also stunning art. Every course was fantastic but one of my favorites was a wild strawberry and meringue dessert that was almost too gorgeous to eat, and somehow tasted even better than it looked. I’m not generally a fan of lamb but theirs was one of my favorite courses, prepared with fresh peas and mint making it light, bright and tender, rather than gamey or heavy at all. Other highlights were a tomato course that was the favorite of my friend, who doesn’t like tomatoes, and a dish made with leeks and potatoes that took something simple and made it divine. Which was something of a theme there. Sublime potatoes with caviar, a bite sized and elevated lobster roll, an indescribable raspberry dessert… so many delights! Everything we ate was amazing and we left happy and stuffed. The setting was also lovely and thoughtful, from the decor to the music. The vibe was welcoming and comfortable, while still being elegant and perfect for a special occasion. We appreciated every aspect of the meal and will definitely eat there again.

It was our 20th anniversary so what better place to celebrate than this amazing restaurant. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by warm and friendly faces who take you to the bar that exudes dark and yet comforting colours. The restaurant is immaculate and the staff are more on the ball than a Premier League striker. The food. Well where do I start. The four hors d'oeuvres were a wonderful way to begin this culinary journey with the roast dinner being stand out. How on earth can such a small nibble taste like a roast dinner with gravy. This is Willie Wonker magic but on a plate. The seasons tasting menu was ridiculously good from start to finish. The tomatoe starter was the juiciest tomato I've ever had. The turbot was silky smooth and the duck was juicy, fruity and rich. Dont get me started on the Core Teaser which gave a wonderful sweet fix to what was the end of the best meal I've ever eaten in the UK. What topped it off was for Clare to meet us and have a chat as we were leaving with full and content stomachs. We couldn't have celebrated our anniversary any better than treating ourselves to Core. Clare and her amazing team of wizards and sorcerers are at the top of their game and we are extremely grateful for being able to visit.

Absolutely lovely experience. Beautiful decor, attentive, knowledgable staff, and exquisite, beautiful food. A not-to-be missed dining experience. Plan for three hours. You'll want to stay forever!
