We ordered in advance, and they still got the order wrong, tried to overcharge for their mistake and service took ages. Food was pretty tasteless and not as expected from other cote experiences. Very disappointing.

Cote is always such a reliable bet for a rendez-vous spot with friends or a pre-theatre meal. This visit was exactly as anticipated. Good food, decent value, prompt but unhurried service in a smart and comfortable environment.

My family and I have ways been Cote fans and we have frequented many restaurants for years, but lately we have noticed a real decline. Prices are up and portion sizes are much smaller. They used to represent good value, nicely sized healthy portions and great value for money. This weekend we came away still hungry and considerably poorer! And the food didn’t seem as good. It’s a shame but we probably won’t be going back to Cote.

We had an Alpine meal of small plates it was perfect for cold weather, nicely cooked and presented. Staff understood the assignment of us needing to leave on time for a concert at the Barbican. Staff are friendly and attentive. We’ll be back again.

The restaurant allowed too many bookings at 7.30pm so the kitchen and waiting staff were overwhelmed leading to delays and left cooling before being served. Disappointing

Consistently decent food at a fair price and excellent service. First time at this Cote - nicely decorated and good lighting; noise levels quite high but bearable, with a fair amount of City workers.

The staff were very attentive. Service was fast and efficient and the food was fabulous. The ambiance was very good.
