   We had a lovely lunch, delicious Quiche Lorraine and a fruit salad. Perfect!

   My wife and I always love the authentic French dining experience at Cote France when we visit Venice, Florida. Whether dining at small bistro tables outside on nice days or enjoying the ambiance of the restaurant inside it is always quite a treat. First and foremost, the cuisine is superbly prepared and is uniformly excellent. The wine list while small is first rate and reasonably priced. And, we’ve always found the wait staff to be friendly, attentive and, sometimes, actually French! Overall, it achieves the feel and quality of an authentic bistro in France.

   We had an outstanding meal, and excellent service. It’s so refreshing when a restaurant always delivers quality food. This is our new favorite!

   A not very fancy spot with truly great French food. Nice wine list. Friendly and professional service. Fish is always perfect. Wonderful when you want some. Bistro comfort food or something truly special. We are regulars….. the food totally outshines the humble setting

   Some of the best French food you could ask for! Service, the chef and rest of the staff is the best! Have to get the escargot and French Onion Soup!

   Sweet little restaurant. It was our 2nd time there. The service is excellent, quaint ambience and great location for the Venice theater . All of our dishes were cooked perfectly but we all agreed the sauces and veggies and soup were way under seasoned. But we will return for sure!

   We dined outside . It was a perfect night weatherwise. There was a concert in the park which added music to our dining experience. The food and wine were outstanding. I had the scallops and risotto for my entree. The scallops just melted in my mouth. For dessert I had the profiteroles-- fabulous!

   We booked for the Valentine’s Day set menu and it was absolutely amazing! I can still taste the flavors of the meal which was outstanding and delicious. Thank you so much for a memorable meal! My husband and I really enjoyed it.

   Valentine’s Day dinner special menu. Service was fantastic and food amazing. At first I questioned the choices for the dinner but why? The choices were perfect. I had Leg o Lamb and my wife had Duck. I don’t remember her ever ordering duck but she loved it. Both appetizers were great as well. Great wine selection and great cup of cappuccino. The food was more than plentiful! This is our go to,place to eat in the area. Always top notch. The chef is an artist. Now this place is expensive but you get what you pay for and I don’t mind paying for great food. I can’t wait to return.

    We dined the night of Superbowl so it was very quiet. Yet the French music played softly in the background. I requested a table upstairs, which was nice and private on such an evening. Linens and cloth napkins on the tables looked pretty. The waitstaff were pleasant and friendly as well as helpful. The menu was varied enough to make us want to savor it all. We were happy the French onion soup was not salty. It was absolutely wonderful! The risotto with scallops was so delicious. The lemon tart was tasty and the chocolate profiterole with ice cream was light and divine! The salmon with broccoli tasted quite good, as well. The one thing that would be wonderful, would be to dim the lights upstairs. The lights need more shading. Otherwise, I recommend this little restaurant as one of my ultimate favorites. It opened in 2016 when we first arrived. We have been there for breakfast and lunch a few times but now, we dined at night. French pastry is the best! I am addicted to it. The prices were pretty much average for fancier fare around Sarasota County. The atmosphere is special. I am so delighted that Cote France survived years of reconstruction around Venice, the hurricanes, red tide, and Covid! Family owned businesses are always a pleasure to support.
