The Art Gallery Restaurant, Crafted by Matt Moran, provides a unique dining experience in one of Sydney’s most stunning dining rooms. Reflecting Moran’s signature style, the restaurant showcases locally sourced produce and premium Australian meat and seafood through a light, Mediterranean-inspired menu guided by the seasons. The drinks menu features an all-Australian wine list as well as Champagne, cocktails, beers, ciders and a substantial non-alcoholic offering. The restaurant is operated in partnership with the Gallery’s culinary advisor, Matt Moran, who works with food and beverage partner The Fresh Collective to execute his vision.

Available for 2-7 guests. Enjoy a 3-course shared menu along with a ticket to AWS. Ticket collection from the restaurant after 10am on the day of reservation NOT from the gallery ticketing desk. Credit card details are collected solely for our no-show policy, and payment for the lunch package and any beverages is due at the conclusion of your meal. One ticket per person, member discounts are not applicable.

Our $99 per person share menu is in place for all groups of 8 guests or more with a 10% gratuity applicable to your final bill. This three course share menu changes with the seasons and is made up of the best of our a la carte menu. Please make us aware of any dietary requirements at hello@craftedbymattmoran.com.au. Member discount does not apply. Split payments respectfully not offered. 15% surcharge applied on public holidays. This menu does not include exhibition tickets, however they can be purchased at an additional cost at the restaurant.

We had a package lunch (3 course meal and ticket to the Archibald exhibition) and our meal was outstanding. The food was delicious, plentiful (make sure you come with an empty stomach) and the service excellent. I would definitely come back to this restaurant, whether I'm planning to watch an art exhibition or not.

Consistently high standard but not fussy or pretentious. Just excellent quality , skill fully cooked cheerfully served. That’s 💯 to me.

Crafted by Matt Moran always impresses me. The food is always amazing and the service is always so professional. I try to go to this restaurant whenever I visit the art gallery.

My husband and I enjoyed the special Archibald menu. We are looking forward to next year! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and my birthday. I would highly recommend it. Thank you Open Table

Had a fabulous shared lunch yesterday. Excellent food and service in a lovely location as well as tickets for the Archibald Exhibition. This was our second visit and definitely not our last. Great experience.

Service exceptional with attentive staff who knew the menu. Food was excellent and came out at a good pace. Enjoyable lunch that wasn’t rushed. Good wine selection and lovely cocktails. Would definitely recommend.
