    A unique dining experience in the Twin Cities. Worth the drive from Minneapolis. Service was cheerful and prompt. Everything we ordered held flavor combinations I haven’t experienced previously, and worked together beautifully. We enjoyed the beet salad (beet haters, try it, and you’ll be a convert), arepas, pork chop and butternut squash lava cake (not a dessert). Carrot cake and the Eton Mess-like fruit dessert (only way more complex and rich) and fantastic coffee, a full-flavored decaf. As much as I wanted to try the wines and cocktails, I opted for “Ocean Vibes”, a perfectly balanced guava puree, mint and cucumber water, with grapefruit juice. From our window seat where on my left was a spectacular sunset, I could watch the concoction of beverages at the bar station to my right. Careful precision and close attention to the assembly of drinks that were served to our table and others showed great care for guests and respect for the ingredients. The prep work for all of the menu items must be extraordinary and the prices were not what I would expect for so labor intensive a menu. My multiple food sensitivities made modifications necessary, and my inquiries were addressed confidently, creatively and compassionately. All evening we saw groups of people warmly greeted and welcomed to Crasqui. When we go back, it will feel deeply comfortable. Two entire sides of the restaurant have floor to ceiling windows, and the decor is tastefully bright and cheerful. This is a perfect place to bring guests to showcase what is possible for immigrants to Minnesota. And a great place to visit before or after recreational, sporting or cultural events in St. Paul, or coming to or from MSP or Holman. All the same, this is a destination restaurant for us without any other excuse to cross the river. Ample free parking. Highest recommendation.

    Everything was great: the food choices, wine choices, and service. The only item of concern was the spicing on the rabbit; the pepper level was over the top. I took leftovers home, but I only could get through half of them because there was so much pepper in the rabbit meat. You could tone it down by about 50% on the pepper. Thank you.

    Crasqui always delivers a high-quality dining experience. The flavors that chef Soleil and her staff create are always top notch. The servers do an incredible job taking care of all of the guests. The cocktails are refreshing and creative and the desserts are a great way to top off a delicious meal. Highly recommend!

    I was there for dinner this evening, with two Friends; none of us had been before. The experience, from start to finish, was a TRIUMPH. Madison took really good care of us and answered our questions; she was a star, the food and service was A++ and the rosé sangria….YUMMO. Thank you Madison and Crasqui for a wonderful first experience….WE’LL BE BACK!

    Great for foodies looking for a South American take on meats, seafood and vegetables. The menu was notable for having many options for those wishing to avoid gluten, meat, shellfish etc.

    Highly disappointed by this dining experience. The server barely stopped by, and disappeared after bringing out the first course for Valentine’s dinner. She also didn’t ask us what second course dinner we wanted out of the two options. Was given one single glass of wine for the $45 wine pairing, my date requested the non-alcoholic pairing, which never came. Didn’t love the sea food risotto that was main course, the soup was delicious starting off, but the main course left much to be desired. My date can’t eat sea food, but the server wasn’t even around for it to be made clear that we wanted to order the ratatouille as well. The dessert was not good, and was thrown off by how bad it was. Being charged $45 for a single glass of wine was outrageous. Just not value at all for what I expected from the reviews and the quality of food. This truthfully was overall one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in St. Paul. Will definitely not return.
