   The only reason why I gave the food a three is because of my overly high standards. My party of four had a great time and will definitely return.

   The atmosphere was beautiful but the food and service was something to be desired. The lamb shank was under seasoned. The risotto was stiff and wasn’t creamy. The location was top notch.

   We visited to celebrate my 55th birthday. I love gin and couldn't wait to try some new ones. ALL the staff we interacted with were exemplary examples of true hospitality and service. They made our trip nothing short of a beautiful experience. Thank you to Nemma for her fantastic service. The security team handled an incident at another table that was causing a disturbance for the establishment swiftly and with grace. CW's Gin Joint sets a high standard and delivers on that beyond expectation. From the drinks to the food to the entertainment to the decor, it feels like stepping back in time.    I rarely write reviews for restaurants, but this place truly stood out in every way! Service: The service was excellent. My husband and I had a dinner reservation while in town for a wedding, and our table was ready immediately—no waiting, which I really appreciated. Our waiter checked in on us consistently without being intrusive. Ambience: The ambience was perfect—soft lighting, great music, and an overall intimate vibe. It made for the perfect date night, especially with the talented jazz singers adding to the atmosphere. Food: The food was outstanding. We've been to similar spots like Gin Joint across the U.S., but it’s rare to find a place that nails the ambience, service, AND food. We had the octopus—it was incredibly tender, and the sauce was delicious. The Caesar salad was one of the best we've had, with perfectly balanced ingredients (though we never received the anchovies on the side as we requested). My husband ordered the Duck Confit and absolutely loved it—it was crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and cooked to perfection. Our drinks were also great, though I was surprised my mocktail was $14—the same price as a cocktail. Overall, it was an incredible experience. We’d 100% go back, and it’s easy to see why this place seems to be booked out in advance—it’s well worth it!
