    Knocked it out of the park again! We may be becoming regulars. We recognized our server from last time; he recognized us and from there we were given first class service. (Not that you’d need to be recognized to get great service) The entire staff was professional, courteous, and outright kind. I have to say that a bit of kindness goes a long way in a world that’s always in a rush. It’s nice to escape that and find shelter at Davanti! This time, I HAD to try the carbonara. I’ve had plenty of British carbonara all loaded with pancetta and peas and other veggies in a white sauce. I’ve tried to make it at home and wound up with bacon and scrambled eggs. Now the recipe offered called for risotto, but it being my first time, I had to have it with pasta. I wasn’t disappointed. Maybe a tablespoon of pasta water was needed to loosen the sauce a bit, but I chocked that up to asking the kitchen to swap the risotto for pasta. I’ll try it as offered next time and if I wasn’t disappointed this time, I’m sure it’ll be even better! My date went with the Orrichetta and wasn’t disappointed either. We started with the Caesar salad which was also amazing and delicious. I have to offer a shoutout to the bar as well! The old Smokey was awesome! An old fashioned made with bourbon AND scotch? And GOOD scotch at that?! Oh yeah! Davanti Enoteca in Naperville is where to go for a fantastic experience from start to finish, with outstanding service and a kitchen that cooks with love!

    First time dining here. Everything we ordered was very good! Our son loved the pizza and pasta! The gnocchi entree was excellent. We will be coming back.

    We are return diners at Davanti Enoteca’s Naperville location. We had one of our best dining experience, on Monday, July 21, 2025. We were promptly greeted and seated upon our arrival. Shortly after being seated, we were greeted by our Server, Jacob C. who took fantastic care of us. He was very knowledgeable in regards to the menu and various bar and food options. I would consider him to be an idea Server. I chose one of the Specials, the 8 oz. filet. I don’t believe that I have had a better steak, including at some of the best rated steak houses. Perfection. Our entire dining experience was seamlessly served with all items being phenomenal. We had cocktails, appetizers, main courses, with modifications due to allergies, and deserts. Thanks Davanti Enoteca for a wonderful dining experience, we definitely will return!

    The calamari appetizer was fantastic. The remainder of our meal was just average. Service was also terrific and very fast. The stools are incredibly uncomfortable so we left as soon as possible.

    Very nice local italiano dining experience. Ambience comforting, seating space good, service excellent. Overall food really good, well presented on menu.

    Food was very good however our server, Ali, was just outstanding. She was so personable and very attentive. She definitely added to our great experience.
