   Great food and great service! The Reuben was excellent and the Smokey Paloma was one of the best I’ve had. I am sure once the revocations are complete the new space will be top notch too.

   Bait and switch. They advertise this place as an upscale din8g experience with music. It actually is a tavern bar with bar food, lots of kids and parents in bathing suits, and poor service. Our food was bad, the drinks slow, and lots of kids creating havoc.

   There were a party of 7. It was just a lot of food but , the food was not worth the 70.00 we paid per person. This was a $25.00 quality. We usually go to Safety Harbor, wanted to do something different. It was not a good choice. 😕 We had a waitress who couldn't remember anything. We had to ask several times for beverages.

   Thanksgiving Dinner at 6:00pm, great disappointment, $49.00 per person, $203 for not "Hot" but luke warm plate. Upon arrival, sign "Seat Yourself" and not your traditional Thanksgiving dinner. I remember enjoying my family prior to 2019. This time, dinner was served in the small bar area, and they probably had maybe 40 people/customers seated for Thanksgiving. The table we selected were found ourselves inconvenience unable to get up to get up and leave and return to the table without a strategy on how to do so, since my table was blocked by 3 other tables, which I didn't like, definitely an inconvenience. There is nothing special about this Thanksgiving meal, traditional Turkey, dressing, mash potatoes amd gravy, small amount of vegetable, I think green beans, or could have been asparagus, I couldn't identify. If I had known I would have ordered a dinner meal from somewhere else for $18.00 a plate, including small salad and dessert and I could have saved myself spending $203 or ordered carry-out plate the day prior and ate at home. I think the Thanksgiving Dinner Buffrt should have been an extension of the earlier Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet. Unfortunately, reservations ended at 2:30 pm, and then Thanksgiving dinner started at 5:00p.m.. I think the Thanksgiving Brunch Buffet should have been simply extended through 7:00p.m. I will definitely have to find a different venue for my holiday meal the next time. Receiving a check for $203 with the gratuity included when the dinner was nothing special and luke warm, in my opinion, did not feel like a special Thanksgiving holiday meal. The quality has gone downhill.

   We had a great dinner. We ate at the bar and Danna was amazing. The manager Madalia was very friendly. I would recommend to everyone

   We wanted to love this after so many wonderful meals and experiences at the original Dempsey’s, but it was just mediocre all around, (with the exception of our server who was attentive, helpful and friendly.) Soups came out cold. This was remedied once mentioned but was disappointing given there were only 2 tables occupied and one couple at the bar. We overlooked it, but then our steaks came out greasy and unappealing with some of the side dishes mentioned on the menu missing. Husband’s steak was very undercooked. We didn’t bother to send it back. Was not the server’s fault; we could tell the kitchen was just not the same quality as the original restaurant. Maybe if I’d never been to the original Dempsey’s, this would have been an ok meal, but it was underwhelming. I would not go back.

   Very slow taking our order and took a long time delivering salads and entrees to the table....except they did not deliver mine....after 30 minutes when everyone else was finishing their meal, I finally was able to ask our waiter where my meal was and he did not say anything but just hurried away, after another15 minutes, I caught him again and told him to cancel my order...he still said nothing and left...a busboy delivered my meal and tried to deliver it to another at the table who still had his plates before him. Everyone else had finished their meals 20 minutes before this. I stopped the manager as he came by the table and told him of the problem and asked him to take away the meal and removed it from my check and he did say "I'm sorry" and nothing else. This is the second time in a year that this has happened to me at this resort restaurant.....the only place to eat on the property! It was extremely noisy with children breaking pool balls and being very loud in addition to other loud conversations because there was so much other ambient noise in this restaurant. My other guests said further that the food was "OK, but not good!" & "somewhat cold when it was delivered to the table." All other services at Saddlebrook were beyond excellent! However, this restaurant's food and service would go up if this was turned into a fast food MacDonald's or Burger King! Worst restaurant I have been to in many years, but there is no alternative at this resort.

   Food quality was fair, also put in a birthday request, was not even mentioned. Not much atmosphere.

   It is not your original "saddlebrook" restaurant. Worked there when first opened and then attended many Friday night seafood buffets, Sunday brunch, Easter brunch, New Years Eve events for years after. The food was lovely, but too much food thus the price was set at that level of value. No free glass of champagne for Mom, or a rose? Everyone else was doing that. And then to ask for $10 dollars for valet parking (after waiting 10+ minutes) for valet to take keys, and when the website clearly states complimentary parking for dining in...????? Hmmm seems to have lost its charm and glamour....

    The food was great and the restaurant was very nice. My only complaint lies mostly with the other patrons, but I feel it was bad enough that the staff should have stepped in and handled it. There were a ton of totally unruly kids and horrible parents there. They were running around, screeching extremely loudly, and literally throwing the balls from the pool table around. The parents and staff just completely ignored them. What kind of restaurant doesn't put that stuff away when they know a bunch of families are going to be there? It really ruined the whole atmosphere.
