We proudly opened our second Doce Mesas location in August 2022, situated on the Northeast corner of North Central Expressway and Walnut Hill Lane. This location was given a different approach and seats over 100 guest in our main dining area, and another 100 on our split-level patio with a generous outdoor stage.

Always a wonderful experience at Doce Mesas. Service was attentive and pleasant and warm greeting by host, our food was delicious and the ambience was lovely although the music should be lower. Doce Mesas is one of our go-to favorite places for a quick meal at the bar or a more leisurely dinner with friends. Thank you.

Super disappointing meal & service. Margaritas arrived in a wine glass, guacamole was just mashed avocado. Ordered grilled fish tacos and received fried fish and waitress said “can’t you just eat it this way”.

Food and service were excellent. My only recommendation for improvement is to improve the chips and salsa. The chips were not good and reminded me of store bought Tostitos. The salsa didn’t have any significant flavor or kick. We had to ask for something spicier which they provided at extra cost. No matter, happy to pay just to get a salsa that tasted like a true salsa.

I started with a Mexican martini that was perfect. My husband also liked his margarita. At the waiter’s suggestion, we tried the queso flameado as an appetizer. It was good, but had too much meat - overwhelming the cheese that I was wanting. It was also very filling - even though we ate only about half. I got a combo plate and my husband got enchiladas. Both were spectacular, but we were so full from the appetizer we couldn’t eat much. It also came out really fast - before we had hardly even started the appetizer. Next time I would wait until after the appetizer to order the entree as we felt rushed and didn’t even order a second drink. The nightclub beat in the background was annoying for a Mexican restaurant, but low enough to not be offensive. Overall, the food and drinks were excellent - high marks. Service and ambience were just ok.

Incredibly loud. Food was delicious and service was amazing, but the noise level was terrible. The loud pulsating music made it worse

Always a wonderful dining experience! Angelina was fantastic. It was a busy Saturday night and she stayed on top of all her tables. Our dinner was delicious as usual. We brought friends who truly enjoyed everything. Thanks and see you soon!

The food, set up and location are excellent. The Euro disco music should be replaced with something more appropriately Latin in flavor.

Good food and drinks. Had a problem getting table for two, most tables are saved for parties of four or more. The noise level is at times unbearable. Why does a Mexican restaurant have to play loud drum music over and over. And with loud velocity. I know they are creating a "busy" type atmosphere, but different style music would be more entertainment while dining. Everyone in the restaurant was yelling and screaming to be heard over the drum rolls.
