   It’s a travesty that Doc’s wasn’t packed for Mother’s Day brunch. Cozy and well appointed with amazing food and service. The Caesar salad was phenomenal, and the shrimp and grits and greens would make a southern grandma jealous. We will definitely be back.

   A hidden gem! Everything was perfect. The Chop was hands down the best that I’ve ever had. The rolls were a delicious appetizers. And the decor, attention to detail, and amazing service. And to hear about the history of the building qnd family legacy was a bonus. We will definitely be back.

   Brunch at Doc's Restaurant on Harvard was a great choice for Easter Sunday. The Chef's excellence in preparation and presentation was evidenced in the creative and delicious menu items. The ambiance of a warm and welcoming setting, which was enjoyed by me and my family, was enhanced through the attentiveness of the owner. Hopefully, an increase in staffing levels will decrease the extended wait time between courses, eliminating the one negative aspect of the dining experience.

   Both the meatballs as a starter and the shrimp etouffee as my main were wonderful. The desert sounded delicious, but for another day, since I was stuffed. The owners were delightful and shared the story of restaurant's prior life, as the dental office of the father of one of the owners. Hence the name, Doc's. The immediate neighborhood had an important, and sadly mostly forgotten history as a hub of African American medical professionals in mid-twentieth century Cleveland. The atmosphere was lovely with a wonderful jazz playlist and friendly patrons. The one owner who also tended bar had some reservations about his first attempt at a new featured cocktail, and asked my opinion. When I told him that the the lime was overpowering, he quickly tossed the drink and made me another which was perfectly blended. This is a wonderful spot to eat with friends.

   Doc's is always excellent! The welcoming atmosphere. The vibe. The food is absolutely delicious, I literally crave The Signature Whitefish entree but also love to put together a meal from small plates. The Moroccan Shrimp, the Fusion Rolls, and the Brussels Sprouts are a favorite combination! Oh, and the cocktails! The Sophisticated Lady! You need to get to Doc's on Harvard!

   It was a wonderful experience the chef and her husband were kind welcoming and even gave us a history of the restaurant which was named for the Chef's father-in-law who was a dentist at that location years ago and the food was delicious. Warm inviting and very hospitable.

    The food was simply incredible. The gumbo was exceptional and best I’ve had in Cleveland. The fried chicken and sweet potato pie was simply delicious. We will return and recommend to friends.
