   We were shown to our table, given a couple of different menus (one sweet/one savoury) to choose from and were told we would have our table for 1.5 hours! It all felt rather rushed. Tea was served quickly, but with no extra pot of hot water and the food was brought out very quickly indeed. My guess was that the platters were already made up ready to take to the tables, hence the dry sandwiches. The Afternoon tea was the most expensive I have had (£30 pp) and the food was average. The sandwich bread was on the dry side and the cake selection was drab (macaron, beetroot cake!, a madeleine (plain cake), chocolate and lime tart (very nice). The scone with cream and jam was however very good. We were told tea/coffee was unlimited, but weren’t offered a top up.

   Lovely afternoon tea. It was well organised, with everyone arriving at the same set time. The team working were very friendly and helpful and the food was delicious.

   Excellent service, super location. Sandwiches on the small side. Cakes amazing. Scones great. Staff constantly filling tea. Would of liked a musician playing to improve ambience.

   Lovely attention to detail for our afternoon tea. Great local produce and tasty recipes. Staff were friendly and the venue is stunning
