I treated Mom to an great pasta lunch at Donnini’s, and wow, she loved it! She couldn’t get enough of the Grilled Local Calamari and the delicious Tri Di Pasta. Service was excellent and prices were very reasonable

One of our long-term favourites, Donnini's never disappoints! Food is delicious and the service excellent. Highly recommended

This restaurant has 5 stars on Google which is saying something! The staff was incredible! The wine was delicious, the ambiance— civilized! Not schlocky like other Lygon St establishments. Please order the focaccia followed by their fresh pasta with sauce on top (frutti de mari.’, sugo, carbonara) the non pasta items , in this case the fish, was only so so.

Late for our booking-lack of parking but seated quickly. Order taken quickly. Mains delivered but no entree which we ordered. Carbonara lacked flavor and linguine marinara only had prawns. Upon payment mentioned that we didn’t get our entree only a brief apology. Given the good reviews we read prior dining here we were very disappointed Have had better Italian cuisine at other food chain restaurants

Absolutely wonderful. Never tasted food so good! Wait staff were super attentive. Had a lovely time with the family.

Beautiful authentic Italian meal, in the heart of Lygon Street, Carlton. Great service, and pleasant ambience, making for a lovely lunchtime get together.

A lovely lunch today sitting outside. This is probably the most sophisticated Italian on Lygon Street, interesting menu with very good food, friendly service and a very stylish interior. None of the fake Italian bonhomie and pepper grinders just a good restaurant. spaghetti carbonara was outstanding.
