   The food was outstanding! This restaurant is not overhyped at all. There’s a reason why they are part of Canada’s 100 Best Restaurants list. We enjoyed every single part of the meal and we will for sure come back.

   I finally made it to Dopo after hearing rave reviews for ages - and it absolutely lived up to the hype. From start to finish, everything was exceptional. We kicked off the evening with cocktails (the espresso martini was perfection) and a few small plates—whipped ricotta with hot honey, their fresh bread, and green tomatoes. Every bite was ridiculously good. We followed with a super unique salad of endive, fennel, mint, and greens—it was so fresh and unlike anything I’ve had before. Then came the main event: their signature gnocchi. Soft, pillowy, flavour-packed magic, perfectly paired with a glass of wine. My boyfriend had a hearty, spicy pasta dish (the name escapes me!) but it was just as incredible. Worth the wait, 100%. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

   Amazing food and service! Difficult to get a reservation as times usually fill up upon opening reservations 30 days in advance, but well worth it.....so plan ahead! The food is brough family-style course by course and makes for a wonderful experience tasting multiple dishes. Be sure to bring 3-4+ people to maximize the experience.

   Staff incredible, food delicious and atmosphere is on point . As a celiac, I am so appreciative of the diverse menu including the best gf bread and hand rolled noodles . 10/10

   I was very much looking forward to my dinner at DOPO. When we arrived, we could barely read the menu due to their being minimal light. Additionally, it was extremely hard to have a conversation as it was so loud. The anchovy stater was meh. I will say the whipped ricotta with the pickled green tomatoes was amazing, but that's the extent of it. We ordered two pastas. One was the gnocchi and the second was similar to a carbonara. The gnocchi was inconsistently cooked, with some completely underdone and the sauce tasted like it was only tomato paste. The carbonara type dish was gloopy and tasteless and the pasta was overdone. I will say when we brought up our disappointment, the restaurant removed the pasta from our check and apologized profusely, which was very much appreciated. I hope it was just an off night in the kitchen but for a meal I was very much looking forward to, I was highly disappointed.

   the food was a big disappointment to be honest. we were so excited and the pasta and appys were bland. the tiramisu was incredible though. also we had our server leave at the end and the new server was so so unpleasant. after spending $14 on a small ricotta bowl with no bread they wouldn’t even split the bill for us. we were only 2 couples so it would have been easy. we had to pull out calculators. not standard for such a fancy restaurant.

   The food is outstanding. Our service was very attentive without interrupting an intimate meal. Our server's suggestion to modify what we planned to order created a delicious variety of dishes. She was wonderful. I couldn't possibly decide what dish was my favorite and although I left quite full, I can't imagine not ordering all of the plates we did. 5 stars again and again

   I completely understand why you have to book a month out. DOPO’s food is not only delicious but the service and vibes are immaculate. I’m a sober girlie and the mocktails were exceptional and I felt no judgement around my drink choices. Our server was a magical cutie that we fully trusted to feed us. We said we are open and she chose our food for us. You literally cannot go wrong with any choice and honestly if you don’t know what to choose let them pick for you! We’ve already booked in for my birthday ♥️ Much love to the team! ♥️♥️♥️
