   Ambience was great. Perfect for my business meeting. Food was good as well. Will be back.

   Food was phenomenal. Service was not super good and waitress barely came to check on us. It wasn’t busy and we still had a hard time getting her attention.

   Service terrible, we even had to remove duty plates from table. Food not well presented, but the worse part was when we get the RIB PLATE no meet just the BONES. It was a disappointment. There is no manager or supervision, it's obvious

   BAD - Was not sat right away, even with a reservation. We didn’t receive our salad, we were forgotten. Waitress was surprised we didn’t get out salad, she was out waitress so I’m not sure why she was surprised. They also didn’t have their most popular wine available for Valentines day(Tutto Mio). They were also out of regular napkins. We had to send our main entree back (steak) because it was cooked Well-done instead of medium. We didn’t get the chocolate covered strawberries even though I selected the option (I was not charged for them at least). Our waitress was nice, but was missing for some time when we needed to order our dessert, the manager helped us. The dessert was gimmicky - Bread with ice cream. Overall bad date night after spending 160$. Other tables experienced the same issues and were walking out. This was a 7pm reservation.

   Enjoyed our late lunch. Food was very good and place has a nice atmosphere. Would love to come back for dinner.

   So excited to have found this gem of a place in the RGV! We had the fried salmon sandwich and crispy chicken sandwich. Both were delicious and the cabbage slaw on the chicken was spicy and refreshing. Great service and atmosphere.

   I give them 6 stars. An unexpected gem in Harlingen. Innovative, tasty. Great wine selection. You can pick a bottle from the wine "shop" in addition to the menu list. This place would be more at home in Houston or Austin where food of this creativity and flavor would be expected. I stopped to speak to a table in the way out and 2 of the diners had come up from Matamoros in Mexico for this level of cuisine. the RGV is home to fabulous bar-b-que and Mexican food. Dos Olivos is a wonderful addition to the region.

   Andrew, our server, was excellent! He knew the menu, available wines, checked on the table timely, and just created a wonderful dining experience for our table of 4.

    Everything was too good. The ribeye, pan tomate, and truffle mac (and everything else) was amazing. Can’t go wrong with anything you choose.
