   When we arrived, only a few tables occupied. Took a while to give our drink order. Took a while to get our drinks. In the meantime, a couple sat down next to us. Different waiter. We gave our order and our neighbors already had their appetizers. When we asked the manager where were our appetizers, she said she would check. Appetizers arrived a few minutes later. Manager said there was some "confusion" between waiter and chef. Main course arrived and our neighbors almost finished with their dessert. As a point of clarification, we both ordered from the AZ Restaurant Week menu. Been to Doughbird many times and food is always very good. Hummus, prime dip and chicken - our favorites. But our poor service is a big turn off.

   Doughbird is 5 stars start to finish! It was our first dining experience but had been on our list for awhile as we are big fans of the Fox Concepts restaurants. The patio was great with plenty of greenery to block some of the noise from Indian School. Everyone loved their food! The pizzas are excellent with generous toppings and a soft chewy crust, the sides were plentiful and well seasoned and the spicy rigatoni was gone in minutes. We did the butterscotch cake and peanut butter brookie as desserts and there were smiles all around. We can’t wait to go back!

   It is a great go to for picky eaters. Always something on the menu to enjoy. Our waitress was amazing though she had a lot of people so it was a little slow.

   We had a reservation, which the table was available and ready when we arrived on time. Very loud inside. The service was lacking from the start, taking an inordinate amount of time just to get the drinks (nearly 1 minutes for water and soda, the bottle of beer came a few minutes after the others). When delivering the drinks, said he would "be right back" to take our order. 15 minutes had passed before he returned. Took our order. The appetizer took 20 minutes to arrive. Took the dinner food another 30 minutes to arrive, and that was the kids pizzas. The adult meals took another 10 minutes to arrive. Nearly 2 hours we were there, even though we were seated immediately. I really believe the assignment of tables to the wait staff was a huge factor, as our waiter had tables outside, and several scattered throughout the inside. Looked like he was having trouble remembering which were his and he was bouncing all over. The arrival of the food at different times and the missing items each time someone showed up with something, was not pleasurable. Everyone was sitting hungry and getting frustrated and antsy with how long it was taking. The food was okay. Between the wait and frustration, wasn't something worth it. The manager came over and apologized, without us asking for him. Credited some money in an effort.

   Completely chaotic. Had a reservation for 6 pm was sat on time but waited over 30 minutes and no server showed up. I had to go back to the hostess and said you sat us a while ago and no one has come to the table. She was nice and apologized. She came over took our order for appetizers and drinks. There was 4 times we were given the food and drinks from other tables. The table we were sat at accommodates 2 people they put it with another table making it a set of 4 but we were a reserved party of 7. They squeezed 2 outdoor chairs at the table to make room. We made it work because it was busy. The food was still as it always had been very good. It had been a while since we dined there. Last time was November 2023.

    Yep, they do pizza and rotisserie chicken. But have you had their chicken? They do a phenomenal job with it. It's seasoned wonderfully and cooked perfectly. The pizza dough is phenomenal and they turn out right every single time. Have you tried the hummus? I always skip the veggies by getting extra bread. Chicken pot pie? Yes please.
