    Reservation at 8. With 10 people. We were told that kitchen was closing at 845. After being rushed all meal and then told we had 15 minutes to leave. No one seemed interested in serving us. Why take a reservation at 8 PM when you don’t want to serve people and kick them out at 945. Food was also below average. Will never return.

    I recently had the pleasure of dining at Eataly Don Mills, and it was an experience that truly captured the essence of Italian culinary tradition. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, with the distinct aroma of fresh pasta, sizzling meats, and fresh-baked breads filling the air. The layout of the store is impressive, offering a variety of Italian goods and fresh ingredients, but it’s the dining experience that really stands out. I started with a classic antipasto platter, which featured an array of cured meats, cheeses, and olives. Each item was carefully selected, and the quality was unmistakable—everything from the prosciutto to the pecorino was rich in flavor, perfectly complemented by the accompanying bread and honey. For the main course, I opted for a handmade pasta dish: pappardelle with a rich ragu. The pasta was cooked to perfection, with just the right amount of bite. The ragu was hearty and flavorful, making each bite feel like a taste of authentic Italian comfort food. The portion sizes were generous, and I found myself savoring every forkful. To finish off the meal, I couldn’t resist the tiramisu. It was indulgent yet light, with the perfect balance of coffee flavor and creamy mascarpone. A true Italian classic. The service at Eataly Don Mills was impeccable. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable, offering helpful recommendations and ensuring our experience was seamless from start to finish. It’s clear that the staff is passionate about Italian food and culture, making it feel like a little slice of Italy right in Toronto. VIVA ITALIA , VITA EATALY!

    Our server was fantastic! He was attentive and gave us the perfect amount of service. The food was great and loved the lunch special.

    I had a reservation and I had to wait five minutes to be seated when I was seated I ordered a drink and then my meal. It took 10 minutes for my soup to come out and the soup that I ordered which was supposed to be a butternut squash soup was more like a weird vegetable purée which had absolutely no flavour to it I had to ask for salt and pepper but it was super thick not like a soup at all. My pizza didn’t come out for 23 minutes after that and the pizza when it arrived was lukewarm as it had been sitting somewhere and very soggy the middle of the pizza was all wet and soggy and it was not appetising at all. I was very disappointed by the whole experience and would not go back

    Pasta was under cooked. Pizza was fantastic. Was a bit loud, lot of families.

    Had a lovely family dinner w/ excellent table side service and incredible ambiance, this is compared to eataly yorkville, flatiron, soho and outside of Florence locations

    The food was decent. I ordered pasta, and I asked for a spoon, but I never received it. The service wasn't the greatest. For example, I was late and when I mentioned it, the front desk literally showed that she was displeased and sighed. Then said it's okay. The server wasn't very attentive either but that's fine since I have no desire to return anyway.

    Forst time visiting. Food was great, service (Sarah) even better! It's nice inside by the windows but if the outside trees weren't decorated for the holidays, the view of the road/Shoppers would take away from the overall experience. Try the rosemary bread!
