This ancient listed building pre-dates the Great Fire of 1666 and is the oldest wine house in the City. Its origins were as a Merchants house and it is believed that smugglers used the old tunnel to the river from the cellars. Step inside and you will get a sense of our long established history combined with a continually evolving offer of well sourced wines shipped from around the world and small plates menu.

The people have supported our family with young Children and also entertain them and we nothing but appreciate what they have done to us for this dinner.

This is such a charming place! Combines Olde Worlde London style with reasonable and decent tapas. The staff were superb and warm too, highly recommended!
