Ela Mezze + Spirits is a culinary journey through the diverse tapestry of the Mediterranean, with a welcoming twist that beckons you to explore further. Situated in the vibrant neighborhood of VaHi, Ela takes patrons on a Grand Tour of flavors including charcoal-grilled meats, fresh seafood, spices, regional wines and curated cocktails influenced by travels from Morocco to Greece, Israel, Turkey and back. A testament to the region’s history of trade and cultural exchange, Ela’s offerings result in a sensory mosaic as vast and intricate as the sea itself and the lands surrounding it.     From beginning to end, my wife and I were wowed! We came on a mini trip from Florida and started looking up places on TikTok. That’s where I found Ela. It looked amazing, so we thought, “Why not?” Nick was our server, and he was absolutely AMAZING. As first-timers, we trusted his recommendations, and he did not steer us wrong at all! From the Moroccan Hot Chicken to the cauliflower falafel and mussels, ending the night with the black pepper lamb, and topping it off with the GREEK FRO-YO—it was a night filled with incredible flavors and vibes. Those who live nearby are so lucky! This visit made us excited to return to Atlanta and bring our family and friends to Ela. Another huge shoutout to Nick—he knows everything there is to know and answered all our questions. The FOH staff overall was fantastic!

    Beautiful, cozy atmosphere! The food was incredible - the Mezze Board is a must! - and such a great value. Service was immaculate, our server was so sweet and kind. The biggest gold star was the chef taking time to make a comprehensive list of ingredients for a person in our party with several dietary restrictions. Ela is for sure a rising star and will be a do-not-miss for the foodie scene.

    The food is fresh and delicious, the service was great, the restaurant is very nice, with free parking.  However, the music was way too loud to be pleasant and me and my date were not able to speak to each other without talking at a very, very loud level while sitting next to each other. My recommendation would be to turn down the music a lot.

    Sorry to say that I do not see how eater atlanta decided that this place was new restaurant of the year. So many better restaurants were available for restaurant of the year.

    Great date night place. There are several cozy small high tables in the bar area that are energetic but also far enough away from others that you aren't up in someone business and vice a versa. The food is so delicious and much of the menu is perfect for sharing. We has the hummus trio and ordered crudite on the side, then split a couple kabobs over a plate of cous cous.

    The hummus appetizer was delicious as was my lamb burger. Too much sugar in the Brussel sprouts. Salad was not anything special. Spinach-feta hand pie was amazing. Service was spot on.

    We had such a great time celebrating a birthday with a large group! The staff were extra accommodating in making sure we were the most comfortable. Service was truly incredible. We felt that Nick was the most charming and professional server we have had somewhere in a long time. He was knowledgable and easy to talk to. The cocktails came out quickly and the food arrived hot and delicious. We sorta passed some things around and had a bit of everything so it’s definitely shareable. Donuts are a must! Will definitely be back many times I’m sure.
