    The restaurant is beautiful. The food was delicious. I was impressed with the service. All employees were very attentive. This is truly a special occasion place.

    Enjoyed it. However, the lamb shank for 2 is a misnomer because the lamb is a portion size for 1. The sides that come with it are portioned for 2. That means you pay a lot of money for sides and split a single portion of lamb. That was disappointing.

    The restaurant has been open less than a week and the service and food was fantastic! Can’t wait to go back.

    We have been anticipating the opening of this place and immediately booked as soon as we could. We had a group of 6 ppl and Jake was our server. Jake was fantastic!! Attentive, personable, funny, and accommodating. The service overall was wonderful. Inside the restaurant is absolutely stunning. They did a wonderful job renovating the place and the new layout is more inviting. We had the Buttermilk Fried Chicken & Cornbread Bites and hamachi crudo…both were delicious. I ordered the miso cod for my main dish and the flavors were amazing. Their specialty drink menu is so fun and their blue cheese stuff Castellanos olives are to die for, especially in my martini!! It was their soft opening so the food took a bit of time to come out but overall it was a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back to dine again. Thanks for bringing another fabulous dining experience to EDH!!

    We went on their third day of business. After being seated we waited 20+ minutes to be acknowledged. A manager noticed, took our drink orders and sent a server. The drink I received was incorrect but something I liked so I kept it. We had the crab cakes starter. We received three medium sized crab cakes that were very good. I ordered scallops which were delicious but for $42 I expected more than three scallops without a side dish. My partner had the ribs which were tender and flavorful. It was a generous portion but the kitchen forgot the fries and according to the server didn’t realize they came with the ribs. Once brought to their attention the fries came promptly and were delicious. We would definitely return and chalked the errors up to the newness.

    Best new spot in El Dorado Hills! The food was amazing, the staff was so attentive and friendly, the restaurant was stunning!! We will be back over and over!

    We started with the Hamachi Crudo, light and fresh with a burst of flavor, and the grilled octopus, which was tender and cooked to perfection— was absolutely delicious. The Hummingbird cocktail was a showstopper, with shaved cotton candy adding a fun sweet twist, while the Old Fashioned was expertly crafted and perfectly balanced. For our mains, the Wagyu steaks were cooked to absolute perfection—medium rare, tender, and packed with flavor. The truffle butter on the side was a perfect complement. Our sides of Brussels sprouts were a tasty surprise with candied bacon bits, crispy and full of taste, while the truffle fries were the perfect balance of rich and savory. We finished with the Butter Cake dessert, which was rich and decadent, the perfect end to a flawless meal. Absolutely fantastic dining experience at the Eldo Chop House! From start to finish, everything was exceptional.
