Welcome to Ellie's Tap & Vine... Join us for seasonal cuisine, elegant ranch ambiance and great wine! We are Valley to Table dining, working with many local farms and purveyors; We look forward to seeing you soon! Our menu changes regularly, so please feel free to visit our website: www.elliestapandvine.com or follow us on IG and/or FB.

Our restaurant is located in the heart of Santa Ynez. We boast amazing outdoor seating with great views and because it is often a little chilly in the evening, we have heaters. We are also dog and cat friendly.

We know re-adjusting to dining out is a strange experience for everyone and we are all slowly returning. For now, we will be suspending lunch service.

The restaurant was full on a Tuesday evening. Service was good, although they looked a little overworked. The food is quite heavy and certainly I think I would've shared portions had I known we had the calamari, and there was a massive amount of garlic in it, which I enjoyed, and the flavor was great as well as the tenderness of the squid. Our main courses were very hearty and well cooked. Desert apple crisp was way too sweet with masses of caramel . Overall good but rich and heavy so go hungry and share .

Always something new and yummy on the menu. Tonight it was the giant crab cake. This place is always a treat when we come to town! Congrats to the team at Ellie’s!

We’ve visited Ellie’s in the past and had mixed experiences. However, this establishment has improved significantly in both food quality and service standards. The server was exceptionally personable, and the kitchen was impressively attentive, accommodating my wife’s extensive list of food intolerances with care. We will definitely revisit Ellie's on our next trip.

I can’t say enough about this place, we had the best dinner and the staff/chef was outstanding. Definitely will be back.

4 of us went for dinner and each ordered Domenica different. Everyone enjoyed their meals: short ribs, pork ribs, steak, and PEI mussels in coconut curry.

We are huge fans of Joy and the deliciousness that comes from her kitchen! Part-time neighbors and good friends from Los Angeles treated us to dinner after hearing about the uniqueness of the atmosphere, the "vibe," and especially the food. They were impressed and said it rivals many of their usual "haunts." in Brentwood and Calabasas. They keep a journal of places they have dined and said Elli'e would be top of the list for dining in the S.Y. Valley! We each had a different menu item including the rabbit stew, the pork ribs and the beautifully roasted chicken and my favorite, the salmon. Portions are so generous and will serve to be another great respite to enjoy again today! The server, Brock was very attentive, even as it got busier as the evening went on, as well as being very knowledgeable about each menu item...a big plus! Joy is so warm and friendly and her given talent in re-creating menu items from her Mother's recipes is clearly evident. Her attentiveness to ensuring a great dining experience is evidenced by her visiting with patrons during their time in her dining room! This place is top drawer that will give an experience worth repeating and repeating!!!

My sister and I had two excellent meals here while visiting Santa Ynez: Dinner and a lunch the next day. The food was done to perfection. Very well balanced flavors and textures along with an impressive wine list. The meals were sophisticated but made with the love you get from a home cooked meal. Servers were warm and attentive. I will definitely be back on my next trip!

One waitress is not enough even on a slow night.. it’s not fair to paying customers to wait so long for food service…
