Benvenuti Nella Mia Cucina, Belli De Nonna! Before we dive into the delicious feast prepared for you, let me give you a little taste of my vita. I was born in the heart of Rome, and I've been cooking up a storm my entire life! My cucina has always been the center of the universe for my 3 daughters, 5 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, their friends, loved ones, and acquaintances – everyone was always Benvenuto!

Now, we've brought that same love and flavor right here to San Diego. My beloved grandson, Niccolo', and his amore, Cesarina, are opening the doors of my Cucina with the same warm heart and passion.

Wondering how I made it to 95? Well, it's simple: I ate everything that's served here and filled my life with amore! So, Benvenuti! Don't hesitate to indulge in "Scarpetta" - dip that bread into the sauce, just like my grandchildren used to do at the stove when they thought I wasn't looking.

En general bueno , nada extraordinario . La pizza muy gruesa y no me gustó . Buen servicio , muy obscuro el lugar.

Went last night for Valentine’s day and it was amazing. I have no complaints. Our server Andrea was so helpful and attentive. Would come again and would recommend

Our food & service was amazing! We love this restaurant. The rigatoni is my favorite. We got the carpaccio and charcuterie board for appetizers and they are a good size! Perfect date night location.

Absolutely incredible experience. This was my second time coming back here and it lived up to the same hype I had experienced the first time. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was even better. What was nice about this time was that I had concerns about being too cold sitting in the patio area during the winter and after expressing my concerns, they reassured me it would be sufficiently warm and proceeded to have a good amount of heating as well as additional blankets and heated water pads given to us for additional heat should we have needed it. I will definitely be coming back again

Didn't enjoy our time. Menu was confusing to say the least. Tables were smashed together, very hard to have a conversation when you can hear every word of the tables next to each other. Food was not very good. Fettucine al Ragu Bianco, which was hamburger meat over noodles, and Fettuccine Maiale e Spuntature which didn't seem fresh. Over priced for Italian food. Maybe a complimentary basket of bread would help. $5 for an arnold palmer in the tiniest glass filled with ice. Didn't get a refill as promised. Waited 15 minutes to receive the check. Good luck but sorry but we won't be returning.

This is my third time eating at Elvira and each time has been wonderful! What I consider important to share are the quality of the food, which is very good, and the attentiveness of the staff, whether busy or not. Elvira is certainly one of my favorite Italian restaurants in San Diego...and I'm picky after being to Italy several times.
