Born from a passion for authentic, honest cuisine, Embankment Kitchen embarked on a journey to really feed people. Rooted in the warm spirit of Northern hospitality, this is a neighbourhood kitchen where you can eat, drink, unwind, and truly feel at home. We believe in the power of good, solid, recognisable dishes and fresh, seasonal ingredients. Each dish is crafted with precision and a touch of refined elegance and always prepared from scratch, in-house. If it isn’t already obvious, we love what do, and we work hard to curate a menu of classics that have the power to make you want to order everything. Our laid-back space invited diners to share moments and create memories over plates of food designed to hit the spot, and celebrate the extraordinary found in the ordinary, one plate at a time.

Me and my wife were staying at Citysuites and arrived at 9pm after a long drive, we decided we would try the hotels restaurant for convenience, it turned out to be an excellent decision as the food was phenomenal and the service even at that time of night was amazing, no one showing they were tired or frustrated as it was coming to the end of the night, just lovely friendly people. One of the best meals we have had in a very long.

Staff were fantastic!! All friendly, lovely, and appropriately attentive. The caveman sharing platter was fabulous highly recommended, unfortunately we found the seafood platter was a bit of a disappointment and wouldn’t recommend. The sides were delicious there just wasn’t very much of them if you’re sharing between three people. Cocktails and mock tails were great. All in all a lovely evening out for Father’s Day with special mention to the wonderful staff!

Absolutely outstanding in every aspect. Staff were the business. Food was unreal. Never been a fan of asparagus in my life, but these guys have changed my mind completely. Everything was quality. We sat outside late Sunday night and it felt like we were in a little village abroad. Booking the place again on our next visit in a few weeks.

We went as a group of 6, the staff were all extremely lovely and couldn’t do enough for us! The food was incredible! We will definitely be back

We had three breakfasts at Embankment Kitchen over the course of a long weekend. We went at various different times and some were busier than others. The food selection is brilliant and ordering was quick. Food was good- and a sizeable portion. At times we were waiting slightly longer to be seated or for our food to arrive. But nothing unreasonable. For the number of guests that are catered to the service is brilliant. And more luxury than a standard hotel breakfast. The decor is modern and stylish and all staff were friendly and courteous.
