Born from a passion for authentic, honest cuisine, Embankment Kitchen embarked on a journey to really feed people. Rooted in the warm spirit of Northern hospitality, this is a neighbourhood kitchen where you can eat, drink, unwind, and truly feel at home. We believe in the power of good, solid, recognisable dishes and fresh, seasonal ingredients. Each dish is crafted with precision and a touch of refined elegance and always prepared from scratch, in-house. If it isn’t already obvious, we love what do, and we work hard to curate a menu of classics that have the power to make you want to order everything. Our laid-back space invited diners to share moments and create memories over plates of food designed to hit the spot, and celebrate the extraordinary found in the ordinary, one plate at a time.

Our group of 4 ate here at 9:00 on a Saturday morning as part of the overnight package with city suites. We were placed on a lovely large round table and told how the breakfast works. We ordered hit and cold drinks which came quickly and the food followed behind. English breakfasts, eggs florentine and the continental were outstanding. Staff friendly and place is clean, fancy and an absolute treat!! Thank you 🙏🏼

We had breakfast 2 mornings running. Service was great and food was delicious. Would definitely recommend.

Went there for breakfast as it was included in my stay at the hotel. Loved it! A great selection, very fast and friendly staff :)

We had breakfast on Sunday and on Monday, which were 2 different experiences. Sunday: tasty omelette, good service even though it was much more crowded. Monday: 10 min wait to be seated even though we were first in the queue, same omelette quite mediocre this time, another 15 minute wait for just a tea (where we gave up and just left). The staff was working hard, I can't blame them but I suppose they were quite understaffed. Looks like a management failure.

Asked to leave table within 5mins at breakfast time towards the end of our food but we still had coffee and tea to drink. We had only been sitring about 40mins and were on time for out booking.

Booked to dine here before a concert at the AO as it is only a 5mins walk away. Food, drinks and cocktails were all fantastic. Thank you, We will be back!

Bad starters on valnetines, but happy with main and dessert. Algint service and ambience. Not sure if I would go again.

The food here was delicious and so tasty, we got the fish cakes which were amazing and I had the cod and my partner had the chicken which were both great and the dessert of lemon meringue and biscuit cheesecake was the perfect finish to the meal. The staff were lovely, very clean facilities and the ambiance was stunning with live music throughout the whole venue. We will definitely be back!
