The team behind DTSJ favorites - Paper Plane, MINIBOSS, Still O.G. and Alter Ego - elevates the local scene once again with Eos & Nyx, a dual level indoor/outdoor dining experience serving Mediterranean flavors with modern twists.
Drawing inspiration from the Greek deities of dawn and night, this venue provides a culinary journey that transforms as the day unfolds. Guests will savor an array of mezzes, indulgent brunch offerings and grilled seafood and meats, all prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. The bar program features inventive craft cocktails, wines and spirits, showcased against a striking double-height, rotating liquor display that spans both levels of the restaurant. The custom design elements create a captivating atmosphere - by day, the space is vibrant and energetic; by night, it transforms into an urban oasis with intimate accent lighting. The staff is great! We were greeted delightfully with a “happy anniversary” as we were shown to our table. The pulse of music lends an energetic vibe to the very well designed , hip restaurant. As I mentioned, all the staff was attentive and friendly. Decided on a Desert Sun tequila cocktail-delicious!; partner had a bourbon with a ‘big rock’! A tartare caviar Amuse-bouche came to the table to tempt our tastebuds before our appetizers; kofta (amazing) and skull island prawns( sauce amazing: prawns ok) yet all plated beautifully! A basil passion fruit palate cleanser (yummy) came before we were served our entrees : pork chop (so tender with a great balance of lemon aioli & chile ) & lamb chops (grilled to perfection atop a onion soubise and potatoes) We skipped dessert because we were stuffed and the doors to the patio were open leaving us a bit too chilled. Will definitely return and suggest a trip to downtown SJ must include good vibes at EOS & NYX!

I was very impressed by the food at EOS & NYX, one of the newest restaurants in DTSJ. Beautiful presented dishes and tasty food, we even got complimentary appetizers, palate cleanser, and dessert!

Finally!! This is the BEST restaurant in San Jose. Feels like SF, Chicago or NYC inside. I’ve tried it 3 times. Consistently excellent food and service. Please keep it up, Team!

went here for our anniversary and loved the ambiance and everything we were served. my bf said that the tagliatelle was the best pasta he’s ever had! the lamb was cooked perfectly, def in the top 3 of lamb chops i’ve had.

It was my first visit for dinner, after having had brunch once. We found the small plates, entrees and everything to be outstanding. The service was excellent as well. They did a very creative remodel of the former movie theater lobby space to create this two-level restaurant. It is on the pricey side, but definitely worth visiting.
