I found the food to be fairly mediocre. My steak was overdone. They offered to cook another, but I couldn’t be bothered. They comped me for the overdone steak with free Brussel sprouts. The sprouts were a bit underdone. The decor is contemporary but warm. However, the lighting could do well with a dimmer. I think it's wildly overpriced for what they're serving. I will have to check their menu for brunch. It's hard to mess up. But if their pricing is crazy, I probably wouldn't return.

The service was a bit cold, and "off". My 8.5 month (very clearly) pregnant wife was offered both oysters and alcohol. We ended up ordering two zero alcohol beers, which we had expected to be served in the containers that stated no alcohol, but they came in glasses, pre-poured. We asked to verify that there was no alcohol, and got a very short and terse reply. The entryway was gusty and let the weather in - it was in the low single digits temperature wise, and got cold fast when people entered and left. Food was great.

We dined there on October 21st, and it was a great experience. The tasting menu was amazing and very good value. Our server was also wonderful, I can't remember her name, unfortunately, but she was Irish with red hair. Absolutely lovely person. Made us feel very welcome for our anniversary. Can't recommend enough.

Went in for dinner on a Tuesday, not a lot of people inside. One of the best confit duck I've had in Toronto, with generous portion and very reasonable price tag to it. Would recommend.

We needed a last minute reservation in the East and I thought of Est where we had dined twice before. The food was delicious, each plate well spaced between the next to enjoy and share among the 8 of us. The flavours were there, the dishes were hot and fresh, and for the first time I tried the deserts and they were impressive. We ordered both the chocolate cake and the cheese cake which were perfect. During the night, we ordered the crispy cauliflower, the tuna tartare, the foie gras, the burrata, the Cesar salad and as main course we took the carbonara, the steak, the short ribs and the arctic char plus the brocollini which were a hit. All delicious. We will be back!

We went for the tasting menu and the food was good albiet a bit uncreative. I would have liked for the servers to explain a bit more (or at all) about the dishes that were being brought out as I was looking for more of a special dining experience for a special occasion. Overall a pretty middle-of-the-road experience that didn't feel worth the high price tag.
