etch is a globally-inspired restaurant by award-winning chef Deb Paquette. The original location opened its doors in 2012 in lively downtown Nashville; the second location opened in fall of 2024 in The Factory at Franklin. The modern restaurant houses two private dining rooms, a full bar, and a chef’s bar, giving guests a look into the restaurants' culinary prowess.

etch’s eclectic menu incorporates innovative dishes inspired by Deb and Executive Chef Jess Lambert's favorite regions of the world to leave a lasting impression, or etch, on every diner. A wine list with over 80 choices is available, along with high-gravity local beers and hand-crafted signature cocktails.

Desserts are prepared in-house by Pastry Chef Megan Williams, whose creations top the list for the city’s sweet confections. House-made ice creams and artfully plated desserts change seasonally, providing a revolving array of treats that will keep you coming back for more.

The Iris Room can accommodate up to 12 guests; the Cardinal Room can accommodate up to 32 seated guests. A prix fixe menu is offered to private dining groups, and we are happy to offer customized menus and beverage options for your guests.

The dinner is $125++ per person and wine pairings are an additional $55 per person. This special menu will be offered in lieu of our regular dinner menu this evening.     We wanted a special experience to celebrate our son's engagement. Etch delivered with excellent service and delicious food. I really can't think of a negative comment. It is not an inexpensive restaurant, but you will have a memorable meal.

    We always enjoy eating at the Chefs Table / Counter in both Etch restaurants. Yesterday we were there at a very slow time (3:45pm) so we were able to chat with several staff members. They are always so friendly. I’d been wanting to try the hamburger on the mid-day menu - one reason we were there at 3:45. It did not disappoint! The fries were done perfectly. The brownie ice cream made the end of our meal very satisfying.

    I purchased gift cards in anticipation of the opening of the Franklin location as a holiday celebration with friends. Our overall experience was nothing like the Nashville location that made me a fan of Etch. Our steaks were not cooked to order, and the food was barely lukewarm when it arrived and not up to Etch's traditional standards, Additionally, the service was far from efficient. Our dinner experience took 2 1/2 hours, and it was one hour between the time we ordered and when we received our food. We will likely not return given the many options available.

    Great food and ambiance! Different than the Nashville locations, but same quality of food and staff. Loved our time here!

    Food was extraordinary and server made sure we were done well before curtain time despite late arrival caused by parking chaos and gridlock. We have eaten at Etch downtown for years (and at Zola before that), and the Franklin location, like Etc. before it, shows that Deb and her team know how to replicate the same quality experience in a new place.

    This was my first visit to etch in Franklin and I will definitely be back. The food was excellent and the service was the best. All of the staff were friendly and cheerful. The ambience was perfect. You can't go wrong if you choose to visit this location.

    Glad to have an upscale dining option in the “Factory”. Very contemporary remodel of their location. Open views of kitchen and a dining bar overlooking the kitchen. Very creative touches. Service was attentive. All food items well prepared and tasty with unique presentations. I enjoyed the venison which was cooked perfectly, medium rare. My wife enjoyed the scallops, also cooked perfectly. Only negative comment is that only 3, medium sized scallops were served. For the price one more would have been better. Otherwise, thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at Etch.
