Our inspiration is the Zeus Faber, one of many local fish that can be fished sustainably and from our shores; although it has a wonderful Latin come Greek name, it also has a very British name - John Dory.

Faber is the Latin word for ‘Smith’ and as Smith is the most common name in English, we decided it sits well with our ethos - we want to be accessible to all.

Setting us apart from the rest is our commitment to working with local fishmongers who run out to the coast each evening to collect day-boat fish and local ingredients. This means that everything on our menu is fresh, sustainably sourced, and supports the local economy.

Our chef Ollie Bass believes in creating dishes that are not only delicious but also ethical and responsible.

A perfect spot with Eventim Apollo, The Lyric & Riverside studios only 5-10 minutes walk, dine in with us to feel like you're at the coast in the heart of Hammersmith

Faber is a great restaurant with exceptional food. I have always had really delicious meals there. The staff are charming and efficient and I love the way it is decorated - beautiful lights!

Faber Wien & Seafood Restaurant is a hidden gem in Hammersmith. It is light and airy and feels a lot larger than what it was. The menu had lots of tasty dishes, the staff were very attentive and helpful and they are accommodating too - Brompton bicycles and dogs are also allowed inside. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening there and will go back for another 'treat' in a few months time.

A fantastic evening wonderful food and service. We shared oysters ahead of the cod cheek and monkfish starter. We had skate wing and trout for main with the best chips you will ever eat. What can I say the food is so good and the attention to detail and service is brilliant. Emily looked after us and is a fantastic- thank you.

Lovely seafood restaurant, every dish well prepared and delicious, costs us 180 quid without drinks. Would go back again.
