Winner of The Smart Green Guide's USA Discovery of The Year award, Fabrik is Austin’s first 100-percent plant-based tasting restaurant featuring curated menus that highlight the diversity of plant-based cuisine in an intimate, sophisticated setting.

Led by Executive Chef-Owner Je Wallerstein, Fabrik is focused on seasonality and sustainability, sourcing produce and ingredients from local growers and provisioners wherever possible. We offer an eclectic selection of vegan, biodynamic and organic wines, including an optional wine pairing. Fabrik also offers saké as well as a range of non-alcoholic options.

We offer two fixed 7-course tastings at 6pm and 8:30pm Tues-Sat. With 4 distinct seasonal menus each year, our cuisine highlights Japanese, Nordic, and Italian flavor profiles. Fabrik is 100% independently owned and operated - we look forward to hosting you!

This was the best meal I've had in any city, in any country, in years, vegan or not. It's thrilling to find a restaurant in Austin that is able to achieve fine dining at this level. I find that restaurants often tend to overreach and underperform here. The food reminded me a lot the tasting menu at a personal favorite, Blue Hill in the Hudson Valley-- non-vegan but very vegetable focused. A total treat beginning to end, and I can't wait to try the next season's menu.

Literally one of the most fabulous meals we have ever had. Everything about this experience is wonderful - the food, the service, the ambience. We can’t wait to go back.

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Fabrik in Austin last night, and from start to finish, the experience exceeded our expectations. As a fully plant-based restaurant, Fabrik showcases a level of creativity and execution that rivals even the best fine dining establishments. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly welcomed by Mary and Moriah, who went above and beyond to ensure our dining experience was exceptional. Their attentiveness, knowledge of the menu, and genuine enthusiasm for the restaurant’s offerings made us feel truly valued as guests. Ambiance & Atmosphere Fabrik has a modern yet cozy ambiance, with an intimate setting that feels both inviting and sophisticated. The minimalist decor allows the food to take center stage while still maintaining a comfortable and stylish atmosphere. Food & Presentation The menu at Fabrik is a testament to how innovative plant-based cuisine can be. Every dish we tried was beautifully plated and bursting with flavor. The attention to detail in both presentation and taste was remarkable. One standout dish was mushroom cappellacci, which had an incredible depth of flavor, proving that plant-based cuisine can be both indulgent and satisfying. The balance of textures and the use of seasonal, locally sourced ingredients made each bite a delight. We also appreciated the thoughtfully curated beverage pairings, which complemented the dishes perfectly. Service & Experience Mary and Moriah were the highlight of our experience. Their warmth and professionalism made our evening even more memorable. They took the time to explain the dishes, offer recommendations, and check in at just the right moments. Their passion for hospitality was evident, and they truly elevated our night. Final Thoughts Fabrik is a must-visit for anyone looking to experience plant-based fine dining at its best. Whether you’re vegan or simply a lover of great food, this restaurant proves that plant-based cuisine can be indulging and tasty.

What an exquisite dining experience. I am by no means vegan or even vegetarian, but I really wanted to experience the plant based menu at Fabrik. I took a friend with me, who is vegetarian. We enjoyed every single course of the evening and couldn’t believe how beautifully all the components of each course came together! We will definitely be going back in April when they have a new menu! So happy we have this wonderful place in Austin!

Every time my friends and I dine at Fabrik, it’s an absolutely magical experience. From the warm, welcoming staff to the effortlessly cool and intimate vibe, everything is perfection. But what truly sets Fabrik apart is the menu—it’s nothing short of extraordinary. As vegans, we are beyond grateful to experience fine dining in such an artistic, flavorful, and innovative way. Each dish is a masterpiece, crafted with such creativity and care that it feels almost unreal. The chef is a true artist, and their passion shines through in every bite.
